LH 340 coming in for a beautiful landing at CLT with some interesting underscoring by one enthusiast.

Enjoy!

Nah. If she was, she would do the same thing for the A330 that arrives in winter.

Maybe she just likes the A340s? Either way, it's definitely, ahem, different.. Not so much aviation enthusiasm so much as using the plane as a quasi spiritual experience with which to worship...

I'm pretty sure US Airways already tweeted that.

Seems like the "medication" is having some side effects.

To be fair, the 340-6 is extremely gorgeous, much more so than that 340-3 with those ugly hair dryers.

It sounds like she's singing Delta's old theme song.. "Adieumus." err.. trying to.

She's been reported on here many times, and has even made her way into local media.

The airport knows about her, airport police know about her, even LH officials know about her. No one knows why she sings her praises for that one plane...

God forbid LH axes CLT...

I was about to do a thread on this. Now that US is no longer in Star, any signs LH will leave......and BA will show up?

PLEASE do not make a thread about this. There are several already and I don't want to have another CLT Hub Closing thread.

Honestly, I have no idea. LH has come out publically three times to assure CLT and the business community that they will not cut the flight. They have held a conference at the Ballentyne Resort in the city to assure officials that the flight is safe. Are they bluffing? Who knows. There was an article recently that said that LH plans to continue to interline with US on the flight, and they are open to working with the new American in the future regarding CLT, whatever that means.

There is great demand in CLT for flights to Germany, especially to Bavaria. More German owned firms have operations in CLT than any other country. If you go to the Charlotte Chamber page, almost all of the foreign owned firms that relocated and/or opened offices in CLT are German.

Currently, the flight is daily March-October on a A346, and 5-6x weekly in the Winter on the A333.

As for BA, I've heard from CLT people that something will happen in Fall 2014...take that what you make of it.
