SV & 9W Boeing 777-300ERs At YYZ - Jun 21, 2014
Today Saudia sent in HZ-AK12 & Jet Airways VT-JEK to YYZ. This would be the first for the Boeing 777-300ERs to come to YYZ? The Saudia flight was delayed and is expected to leave at 1400 (anytime now). The Jet Airways is scheduled for 1830. Unfortunately Rwy 23 is not in use, so no chance to see these beauties up close. They both arrived on Rwy 5. Hope some spotters were there to capture them!!

Just a little video of VT-JEK departing YYZ....sorry no zoom lens (need to get one). However was really glad to see it in person..I love the 77Ws but honestly the A332 & A333s look great with Jet Airways colours.

Hi !
That's very interesting that HZ-AK12 operated to YYZ; it's in a high density configuration with 3-4-3 in the back and less seats on Business and no First Class.
I saw a picture in the database of a 777-200/ER of SV that flew in to YYZ in May some time so at least you get some variety.
Here at LAX we get the same 5 777-300/ERs all the time (HZ-AK17/18/19/20/22)

The SV was a sub as the original 200 went tech. Hence the delayed arrival (1215pm) due to the substitution of aircraft which led to an expedited turnaround but still delayed return departure.
And as Karan69 stated, Jet switched to 773s as of last Thursday, which is another welcome site to see here. Actually it was nice to see them switch earlier this year to 333 and now the 773 makes YYZ a real 777 haven!
BTW Karan69, its only for the summer? If so I suppose they will revert back to Buses as the winter ICAO schedules switch? No matter what, still a welcome change and another treat for us at YZ.

Karan, it's nice to know that the 9W B77Ws are here for the summer!!! madviking had no idea of the 772 going tech. Would have been nice to see the SV B77W

I got Jet Airways too, it has some Ugly Grey on the
on the Engines which was unfortunate but other than that a beautiful bird.
I think the Saudi will be the 777-300ERs for the next little while as well.

I can't remember where I saw this posted about the Saudi 777-300ER But I can tell you the flight tomorrow Is showing the 773 again.

Unfortunately this happens quite regular nowadays on most airlines aircrafts as parts are interchangeable.
The engine cowling on the right hand side engine has been changed at the front with a part from another aircraft, which may not be Jet Airways hence the odd grey colour.
Also after the summer program Jet Airways will get back 3 B777-300ER's that are currently leased to Turkish Airlines. These aircraft will then be leased to and operated by Etihad Airways.
Not sure at this stage whether they will wear Jet Airways livery like B77Ws A6-JAA & A6-JAB or be in Etihad livery.
