New Delta 757 Interior Pictures?

Hello All:

Sometime ago DL began updating some of its 757-200s and 757-300s with a new interior. Despite this introduction, I cannot seem to find any pictures or videos of this new interior, and would like to know if any of you could share them on here.

I think the 757 is the coolest looking plane. From its high stature vs the 737 to its long slender sleek look. there is no prettier plane out there.

How can you see the S/N of the plane flying on a particular route? I'm flying DL's 757 LAX to HNL and want to know if the new interior will be on that bird.

The A350 is the next best thing.

Nice to see the raised DELTA logo on the bulkhead wall, as well (consistent with the 767 fleet).

Those seats look disappointingly like the new AA ones. I say that in terms of diversity. Comfort-wise, A++!

It's always nice to see airline breathing new life into aircraft people are talking about due dates for scrapping! Haha.

They are essentially the same J seats as the ones AA and UA also use on their JFK-LAX/SFO A321 and 757s respectively. There aren't really that many choices when it comes to putting flat-bed seating on narrow-body aircraft if you don't want to sacrifice a significant number of seats for sale....

Aircraft are not assigned until 3 days prior, what flight/day are you going?

IMO looks amazing, took flight to MCO after being routed via JFK from LAS last month and it was the most disappointing old domestic 752, no IFE, no power outlet, dirty old seats, thank goodness it was a red-eye so I did manage to get some shuteye. But other than that just a dated plane.... #firstworldproblems

I will second that.

After 10 years of failed attempts I finally flew on my first 753 flight a few weeks ago on N596NW

I'd have to say that despite the 30mins it took to leave the plane as I picked a seat as far back as possible to experience the chop, it was my favourite flight ever as the 753 was the one plane I really wanted to fly on...

The Fly Delta mobile app will show you the amenity icons in the flight tracker portion the day before your flight.

You can also go to flightaware and search the registrations of the 757-300s (not too hard since there aren't very many). The day before your flight, flightaware will show which flights each aircraft is scheduled to operate. You can use the Flyertalk info to know which aircraft have the updated interiors. I did this for my SEA-HNL flight last month and it worked like a charm.

Did you sit in the back? I swear, you can feel a "double" rotation on the 753 if seated far aft..

Nope. But according to DL's press release in Jan of this year, the narrowbody improvements are scheduled to be completed in 6 years. Seems like the 757 is the main priority right now. I'm thinking the 737NG might be next in line, since information on A32x ISIS interiors seems to be kinda spotty.. (still in development?)

I sat about 3 rows from the back. It felt like it lifted off gently at first to avoid the tail strike and then once off the ground it felt like the nose was raised higher to boost away... So I understand the double rotation feeling...

I use flightradar24 to find out the tail number the day before (within 24 hours) the flight. The tail number usually comes up on flightradar24 just by searching for the flight number. On flightaware, you cannot get the tail number by searching for the flight number. You have to search for all the different tail numbers to see what they are scheduled to do and then figure it out that way - it takes much longer. Just google the flight number, click on the flightradar24 link to that flight number, and if it's within about 24hrs you will see which frame is scheduled to operate the following days flight. Then if you can click on that tail number and see what else it is scheduled to operate in flightradar24 or go to flightaware and type it in to see the planes schedule...

Flew on a refurbished 753 about 2 weeks ago with the new IFE and I was very impressed with the hard product. The screens were very large and the USB ports right next to the screen made it really convenient to charge my computer and phone.
