QR778 MIA1955 – 1810+1DOH 77L x35
Great to see Qatar doing good at MIA.

Quoting Miami (Reply 2): Now, if QR can fill flights to MIA. EK definitely can. |

Quoting behramjee (Reply 6): Main advantage that QR has out of MIA which EK wont is beyond feed via AA code share. If and when EK does decide to come then naturally, QR's loads will take a hit in turn especially since EK offers more beyond seats to Indian Subcontinent and Africa/SE Asia than QR does. |
Quoting jetblue1965 (Reply 8): The same applies at DFW too, but EK is flying the biggest plane out of the 3. |
Quoting Miami (Reply 13): Not bad at all. 86% is very good. Especially for a route that had about 6 PDEW last year. |
Quoting CV880 (Reply 16): Quoting Miami (Reply 13): Not bad at all. 86% is very good. Especially for a route that had about 6 PDEW last year. Funny that CLT always gets dissed with figures like that, but the truth of the matter is that nonstop traffic does increase the O&D somewhat. It would be interesting to know how much of the current traffic is O&D or is it just siphoning traffic from other routes. |
Quoting OB1504 (Reply 19): I think EK will inevitably start flying DXB-MIA |
Quoting OB1504 (Reply 19): make it work, or at least pretend to |
Quoting Miami (Reply 4): What I meant to say about filling planes is that Dubai is a overall better city to visit. I think we both can agree that Dubai would be a much preferred destination rather than Doha. But I get what you're saying. |
Quoting OB1504 (Reply 19): AA and EK don't even have an interline agreement anymore. Even without that, I think EK will inevitably start flying DXB-MIA and make it work, or at least pretend to. |
Quoting CV880 (Reply 24): Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 18): CLT has those figures to Europe, not the Middle East. Oh what happened to GIG & GRU (as well as anything else)? |
Quoting Yellowtail (Reply 21): The vast majority of this traffic is not staying in DOH |
Quoting Yellowtail (Reply 21): QR is discovering an entirely new passenger stream at MIA from Central America and the Caribbean. |
Quoting Yellowtail (Reply 21): The Indian Community in those regions are flocking to the flight |
Quoting adamh8297 (Reply 30): An even better one would be TK via IST. |
Quoting Miami (Reply 22): Good news, I've noticed while booking a fly with Qatar from MIA on qatarairways.com. That it appears now, starting November 17th (First of the new flight that operates on Mondays) is now going to be on a 777-300ER! |
Quoting QatarA340 (Reply 23): That is good news! |
Quoting QatarA340 (Reply 23): I think QR suffers from a lack of aircraft at the moment. |
Quoting QatarA340 (Reply 23): The A350's are going to come in this year, and that is going to free lots of 777's. |
Quoting QatarA340 (Reply 23): I think QR's flight is the only one that has a flight number same as aircraft type! QR 777 flown by 777! |
Quoting Miami (Reply 4): What I meant to say about filling planes is that Dubai is a overall better city to visit. I think we both can agree that Dubai would be a much preferred destination rather than Doha. But I get what you're saying. |
Quoting Miami (Reply 25): About 93% of the seats on Qatar Airways’ 777-200LR were occupied during the month of August. From Doha to Miami, 95% of seats were full, while on the return from Miami 91% of seats were full. |
Quoting Miami (Reply 25): Qatar flew more freight tons to and from MIA than all European passenger airlines, and many cargo-only carriers |
Quoting mham001 (Reply 26): I too am having a hard time envisioning Floridians wanting to go to visit either place in any great number. This has to be more about Miami being the gateway to Central and South America. |
Quoting migair54 (Reply 27): It'd be great to know the top pax destination on the flight. |
Quoting miaintl (Reply 29): How do you know QR flew alot of freight? Where are you getting that statistic? |
Quoting migair54 (Reply 27): B77W |
