Its very dyer isn't it... YUL is down to only 8 daily AC mainline wide bodies...
BRU 1x 333
FRA 1x 333
GVA 1x 333, changing to 1x 763 for summer
LHR 1x 333, changing to 1x 777W for summer
CDG 1x 763, changing to 1x 777W for summer
YYZ 1x 333 + 1x 777W/777L
YVR 1x 333
If any 787s are to come to YUL, they'll take over these routes (or perhaps new ones - we can dream, can't we?). with the 763s on the way out, those routes are likely to see the 787 first (as witnessed with most trans-pac routes out of YVR). YUL is mostly a 333 base so doesn't help in that regards.

Interestingly last month AC mentioned in the Chilean press that it was interested in deploying the 787 on the YYZ-SCL route when the carrier receives more Dreamliners; thus replacing the current 767 service. However, AC did not mention if it would continue to operate the tag-on to EZE via SCL.

AC is "retiring" 4x 763s in 2015 (two already retired), 2x 763s in 2016 and 5x 763s in 2017. All of those routes will (in theory) be replaced by 787s. Routes currently flown by those 11 frames are:
> YHZ-LHR
> YOW-LHR
> YVR-KOA
> YYC-NRT/OGG
> YYZ-BOG/CDG/GIG/GRU/IST/LAX/LHR/LIM/MXP/SFO/ZRH
So i think its fair to assume that you will the 787 replace the 767 on key routes to South America/Europe next as well as the smaller market 767 routes (YHZ/YOW/YYC). Hawaii is going to Rouge so it won't go there.
But 787s are coming in at a much quicker pace than 767s are exiting. 3x 789s left in 2015, 10x 789s in 2016 and 9x 789s in 2017. This will allow for new route expansions in additions to 767 replacements (i.e. DXB/DEL already announced).
9x 767s OUT vs. 22x 789s IN (between now and end of 2017). Expect a BIG expansion for AC.

From 16 Nov 2015 NZ will operate the 787-9 on their daily AKL-SIN flights ( a link is available in the current New Zealand aviation thread - post 167.)

The YYZ-LIM route goes Rouge in May. Nothing about YYZ-BOG as yet. AC also mentioned in the Brazilian press that YYZ-GIG will go 787-8 later this year.

The interesting thing here is the tag-on to EZE. The YYZ-SCL-EZE route operates with the 77W during the high season. In the past AC operated the route as YYZ-SCL-EZE and YYZ-SCL with the 77W simultaneously...On another note, keep an eye on LAN Perú 767 operations for early next year. They will become the second LATAM affiliate to fly the 787.

This thread made an interesting read. I am going on my first 787 on friday - Manchester to Peurto Vallarta with Thomsonfly.
