Quoting tu154 (Thread starter): domestic destinations |
Quoting Coal (Reply 4): Or you could have thought about this for one more minute and realize that, outside, say, NYC and LAX, MIA is a huge O&D market for Latam and Europe (and a few others). |
Quoting CV880 (Reply 5): MCO has to suck up tons more tourist $$ than MIA. |

Quoting jeffh747 (Reply 9): Sorry but can someone please tell me what O& D stands for? |
Quoting tu154 (Thread starter): Is MIA much of an O/D market or more of a connecting point for other markets such as caribbean and/or Latin America? Being from South Florida, I just don't see the citizens of Miami as travelers to domestic destinations. Walking around the airport it just seemed teeming with holiday makers going on cruises and caribbean vacations. |
Quoting CV880 (Reply 5): How much of that O&D traffic is for cruise ships, or what would MIA's O&D stats be without the cruise traffic? How much of that tourist $$ is actually spent in MIA, other than getting to/fr the cruise terminal? MCO has to suck up tons more tourist $$ than MIA. |
