Remember that N548US was modded at IND, so we don't know how long another outsource would take on the first ship that they receive. Still wonder if N538US was in SIN for mx though!

Quoting wjcandee (Reply 147): In its latest conference call, IS&S claimed that the MD88 project was something akin to doing a favor for a favored client, sort of as if it wasn't work they really wanted or needed. REALLY? It was their biggest freakin' contract for a whole bunch of ships. |
Quoting KingAir200 (Reply 151): 757 interiors aren't being done in SIN. |

Quoting n515cr (Reply 153): It was a 75A, so it's likely that it will be the first 75H. |
Quoting 747d10 (Reply 156): N592NW (753) is now heading to ATL from SAT. I looked at 581, 583, 594, and 596 on Flightaware and none of them appear to be heading to SAT to replace 592 just yet. |
Quoting Transpac787 (Reply 155): 5648 already is a 75H (*not* a 75D). It quite frequently goes to OGG and HNL: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N548US |
Quoting n515cr (Reply 158): |
Quoting n515cr (Reply 158): N594NW seems to be the most likely candidate. |
Quoting audidudi (Reply 160): N594NW is confirmed as having gone to SAT for mods. Also it's interesting to see that three 75Es are in mods concurrently to become 75Ss; obviously there is a need to get these ships done before the summer season begins. |
Quoting n515cr (Reply 153): Also, N535US flew to IND, presumably for mods. It was a 75A, so it's likely that it will be the first 75H. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N535US |
Quoting n515cr (Reply 25): N544US is currently en route ATL-ANC, http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N544US, after flying VQQ-ATL earlier today...both as ferry flights. Should be interested to see what comes of this... |
Quoting chrisp390 (Reply 32): Why do they not plan to add AVOD on the A320's? |
Quoting Dalmd88 (Reply 44): AAR @ IND is a heavy check contractor. So it is going for an 'M' check. I would bet it also gets the new interior config since during 'M' check the interior gets completely removed. |
Quoting B757forever (Reply 45): Everything is new, not refurbished. New ceilings, O/H bins, sidewalls, galleys, lavs, seats etc |
Quoting XFSUgimpLB41X (Reply 75): I believe the first 319 is in mx now for the first cabin refit. |
Quoting burnsie28 (Reply 164): 75H: Ships 5635-5651 |
Quoting n515cr (Reply 165): Thanks! I was trying to zero-in on which ones would be 75H vs 75D...and this is a huge help! |
Quoting Transpac787 (Reply 168): This is incorrect, only 5635-5649 will become 75H's. DL plans for only 15 75H's, the rest to be 75D's. |
Quoting burnsie28 (Reply 169): 5639, 5640, 5641, 5642, 5643, 5650, 5651 were slated for interport as its own fleet, it was then decided not to have another subfleet for such a small amount of aircraft. The seating config between the 75H and 75D is the same. The difference on the inside is the type of seaets to be used. 17 total 75H's. |
Quoting Transpac787 (Reply 170): The best 5650 and 5651 can do is EOW-90, not ETOPS-180. |
Quoting burnsie28 (Reply 171): These two aircraft will probably operate Interport, but with the interport designation being removed they will just take on the role of the 75H code due to cabin configuration. |
Quoting wjcandee (Reply 147): Also, any word on the status of the formerly-IS&S cockpit upgrades. Given the delay in announcing the replacement vendor and schedule, I actually wonder if moving forward with IS&S might not have been a faster solution. |
Quoting wjcandee (Reply 147): And it's a high-profile failure that would give me pause as a potential customer. |
Quoting pezzy669 (Reply 152): Normal in the course of business, while I am in a completely different industry (property management) I have many vendors that will take losses on occasional special projects to keep their regular contract work, best part is no skin off either back when you want to cancel as they really did not want to do the work anyways so doubting any bad blood between the two. Now IS&S may be reactive after the fact and this may have been a lucrative contract but it's all a dog an pony show and you don't piss of your biggest customer even if they created a temporary loss. |
Quoting MIflyer12 (Reply 154): IS&S reported a backlog of $72.5 million as of 6/30/14. On 10/6/14, IS&S issued a press release indicating that the DL MD-88 upgrade work represented $62 million of that backlog. |

Quoting n515cr (Reply 175): I haven't seen anything that covers the broader fleet, but I did read that the 4 75V's are likely gone at the end of this year. |
Quoting TFlintoff24 (Reply 183): Any updates on the Airbus 319's? Flying on two in March upfront and am a little disappointed to know they still have the old NW first class seats. |
Quoting 747d10 (Reply 179): 753 (N581NW) is now heading for SAT. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N581NW Now only two non-modded 753's currently in service. |
Quoting audidudi (Reply 180): N707TW has today flown to VQQ for mods. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N707TW |
Quoting A332DTW (Reply 194): I figured this was the right place to post this. Here's a link with some pictures of the new DL seats. And not too bad of a review... http://pointsmilesandmartinis.boardi...class-and-i-won-ben-steins-coffee/ |
Quoting 747d10 (Reply 196): I guess it'll be heading to ATL soon. Just two more 753's to get modded. |
Quoting 747d10 (Reply 196): N685DA has been in IND for a really long time. n525cr's list shows that it should have been done by 17Feb. The 752 domestic mod project seems to be going really slow. |
