Will be interesting to see how they do in Tirana given the fact that they will compete with Adria which has a rather good brand awareness in Albania.

Did you mean a return to NTE or will theis a/c fly a W pattern? Must be a typo, I don't think TO flies to MAD from any other base...yet...

Wouldn't think much of the DUB timings. Arrive into Paris at 22.45 isn't ideal for a weekend break

You are right, the flight goes back to NTE, I am a typo specialist

Not too bad at all.

Saturday DUB-ORY: 0805-1050
Sunday ORY-DUB: 1820-1910.

Or arrive 2245 on the Friday if want an earlier start on the Saturday

On the contrary - it allows for a full working day (Friday) in Dublin, arriving in enough time in Paris to hit the night scene - plus almost 2 full weekend days till the return on Sunday.
My 1000th flight: WVB-CPT on SW....no Aer Lingus or Air France or DUB or LON or ZRH or AMS

I've never flown to Orly but I'd guess you're talking about nearly 1am by the time you'd reach most Paris City centre hotels, that to me isn't worth it. Agreed the early Saturday departure is well timed for a weekend, but given this is the only flight of the week at that time I'd imagine it'll be priced accordingly

Good luck... there is no night scene in Paris

Travelling a Friday night in summer from Orly to the center (so you are driving in the opposite direction to Parisians leaving "pour le weekend") with virtually no traffic shouldn't take more than 20 minutes. And that is 25/30 EUR in Uber (depending on the location) or 30/40 EUR in a typical taxi. An Orlyval + RER is already 11 or 12 EUR per person.

Now compare it to lovely Beauvais. It is 17 EUR (or it was last time I used it) one way to Porte Maillot, which is the West border of the city. Beauvais Airport - Porte Maillot... you will never know how long it will take. It has taken me more than 2 hours in a bad traffic day (!). And Porte Maillot is more than 20 minutes in metro (L1) to Chatelet, which is another ticket. Obviously there is no other option to reach Paris unless you rent a car.

So for a couple travelling for un weekend d'amour in Paris. Orly is a 20 min., 25-35 EUR in a car. Or a 37.40 EUR (2 bus tickets + 2 metro tickets) and at least a 2 hour journey (very conservative estimation) to the city.

well yes you do ! you can eat late till 4 or 5 am in les halles, bastille or republique.
Bars tend to close at 2 am and are pretty full even during the week till midnight. You will find nightclubs open every day of the week and full etc... i m living in paris and being a flight attendant on long haul when i go out it s often during the week and we party till late nd paris as quite a lot to offer

you ll be in paris round 11 :30 or midnight depends if u have luggage, if u take a cab or public transport.
Orly is pretty close to southern paris. CDG is more convenient for the right bank of the seine .
It s a pretty late arrival but for people who want to enjoy the night life it s still early enough

ORY vs BVA is definitively a good solution. Either for a trip from Paris area to DUB, with a mid afternoon departure from the office or early Saturday morning and a late arrival in ORY on Sunday evening. More time in DUB and avoiding Sunday eveving trafic congestion on A6 when leaving ORY. Even limited in terms of movements, ORY can still have an important growth with LCC and increased capacity of a/c. But improvement is needed in terms baggage handling and taxi driver relationship with travellers !!! In terms of Territory spreading, depending where you live in Paris Metro area you will have a cheap solution close to your area. And if you are downtown Paris you will have 3 cheap solutions and can make the balance.

I'm surprised TO is scheduling so many flights arriving between 22:30 and 22:45. ORY closes at 23:00, so any minor delay will mean diverting to CDG...

Orly has just a great location! It can really is 30 minutes from the moment you leave the aircraft to the moment you hit the very center of Paris!
