Good news for aviation enthousiasts! (even if I did not find it with the search engine)
After years and years, the air museum just opened today in TLS.
Its name? Aeroscopia.
you will see 2 Concorde, Super Guppy, A300, caravelle, ...
it is located near the A380 assembly line, and it is possible to buy a ticket to visit both;

Great news, and long overdue. Toulouse really needed this, it was ridiculous that such a city didn't have an aviation museum. Look forward to visiting!

One of the A380 prototypes will join the air museum too.

An important question. Where did the money come from?
There is no participation of the French government in this project.
Financial participation for the creation of Aeroscopia:
Toulouse Urban Metropole Community: 5 M€ (20%)
City of Blagnac: 8,45M€ (39%)
Airbus: 3,5 M€ (15%) + a number of aircraft
Midi-Pyrenees Region: 1,87 M€
Haute-Garonne District : 1,57 M€
Aerothèque: 100 000 €
Manatour will be taking care of the museum's management. This is the same company managing the Airbus factory tours. They will be selling combined tickets for the Airbus plant tours and the Aeroscopia Museum's visit.

There was a better way to fly it was called Concorde

Excellent News!
I looked forward to visiting the place last October during my vacation but had to change my plans when I found out it had not opened yet. I have an ongoing project to collect photos of all the surviving Concordes and the only ones missing are the two in Toulouse and the one in BGI.
Will certainly plan a visit sometime this year.
