Just showed news story on local tv

The coach seats are 9 abreast but the seats look light grey,

gives the coach cabin a very light appearance

and of course the windows are huge

Beautiful bird and arrival video. But what's with the new exterior lights going on planes these days? What was wrong with the strobes? The new lights look decidedly less "modern" in my view. The night skies around busy airports used to be constellations of twinkling lights. Not so much any more.

That is an incredible looking airplane.If I didnt know any better I would dare say that new paint scheme was created with this airplane in mind. It just looks so perfect. And that tail........ I dont care what anyone says. You can call it anything you want. But when you are at a foreign country and you get to an airport at night and you see that lit up tail...... Well. It is something impressive to say the least.

Pardon my ignorance, but that article states the 787 holds more passengers than the 777. Is that true? I thought it was smaller and that was the whole reason routes like NRT-SAN and LHR-AUS were now viable.

I understand it's rumored that the proving runs will be ORD-DFW. Did a fake booking a month out and flight 2353 is scheduled to be a 763. Is this a possible Dreamliner run? I'd like to get it before fares get crazy with all of us a.nutters at ORD that didn't get a chance to catch UA. Any info without anyone getting in trouble would be great.

The 763 they use for ORD-DFW also does MIA-ORD so I would suspect the 787 to do 1 or 2 RT DFW-ORD.....It will also do a roadshow thru the system..Unk if it will be revenue or not.

The delivery date was January 23rd. Boeing's customer code for AA is 23. Happy coincidence?

BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Watched one of the early JAL planes take off over us at the dog beach in San Diego. Our dog didn't care at all. What a magnificent aircraft in person. Would love to fly in one someday.
