No kidding, especially when I just went through the whole fleet using Flight Aware and UA.com for flight amenities and all show no WiFi. Didn't bother checking the 38 ERJ170 fleet. Have no clue where these mods are being done.

All are being retired completely from SkyWest. If I remember correctly the last one will fly revenue in May, after that all will be returned to lessor or sent to the desert.

Seems to be some confusion on the NG numbers, or maybe its just me that is confused when reading posts on here.

Deliveries of 900ER will continue until number 849 and then skip to 880.

As I posted in its own thread, Republic has decided to place the 50 EMB175 frames its will operate for UA onto the Shuttle American certificate.

Actually the UA contract technically ended in December 31st and the companies agreed to a an orderly transition through April. Fleet count being utilized for UA flying in February will be 7, down to 4 in March and only 3 remaining in April.

If we can believe the source, Lie Flat beds for those 28 seats. Would fit almost the exact configuration of the sCO 777's before door 2, but someone on Flyertalk mentioned sUA's IPTE J seats would fit there well too. Depending on how quickly they plan on introducing this plane, maybe they would be removing the J seats from the sUA 3 class planes and retrofitting them as well. If that were the case, I think it would spell the draw down of Global F and 10 across on more 777's than just Hawaii.

Even if its just the HI birds, still disappointing to me. On a shorter flight like HNL, the old recliner seats are so comfortable. It's not like you're going to get 8 hours sleep anyway.

I have noticed that over the course of the past month or so, the amount of UA A/C with Scimitar's has skyrocketed, including the -900ER's. Its nice to see them around, and I would say about 35% of the UA 737's at SAN have the scimitars now. Are they rapidly introducing them to the fleet?
