Quoting iahcsr]Willing to bet 739s will jump from 950 to 975,976, etc.... Possibly 980+ [/quote]

Looks like it will Fleet Number 880 after 849. Skip over the 757-300s.

Do you think these are the UA units or others in the remaining 15 Copa 73Gs?

Now seeing # 738, 739 and 753 popping up. 3 737-700s now ?

Going to retract these Fleet Numbers for the 737-700. Believe it is more about 738 = 737-800, and 739 = 737-900, and 753 = 757-300.

But do see # 880 as the next 737-900ER after # 849.

Scheduled on 24th Apr.[Edited 2015-01-31 11:08:39]

Note that Skywest EMB-120s 223SW, 235SW (both new United colors) and 236SW (house colors) have been withdrawn from service. All three have had titles painted over and are sitting on the tarmac outside of Skywest's Palm Springs hanger.

As, by the end of this year, none of the E120s are scheduled to be under capacity agreements with UA. I was wondering if OO was going to retire the E120s outright or simply operate them all at risk....guess we have part of the answer at least.

No kidding, especially when I just went through the whole fleet using Flight Aware and UA.com for flight amenities and all show no WiFi. Didn't bother checking the 38 ERJ170 fleet. Have no clue where these mods are being done.

787 is correct at 3, 1 788 + 2 789
739 is behind by 2 as a couple just rolled out in the past couple days
757 is close. Now 5 752 sCO birds and 10 753s, 2 752s just exited MIA

752:
N41135 exited MIA 2174/31Jan with Intl WiFi
N14121 entered MIA 2174/31Jan for WiFi

OK, checking on those E175 Mesa aircraft, they all were in DFW about a week to 190 days - must be where the WiFi was installed.

Anyone have a clue where Shuttle America ERJ170s, Skywest ERJ175s or GoJet/Mesa/Skywest CRJ700s would get WiFi installed?

All are being retired completely from SkyWest. If I remember correctly the last one will fly revenue in May, after that all will be returned to lessor or sent to the desert.

Seems to be some confusion on the NG numbers, or maybe its just me that is confused when reading posts on here.
Hope this helps clear it up.
Deliveries of 900ER will continue until number 849 and then skip to 880.
The two used 700's will be registered as 751 and 752.

I should have asked before, but what was the source of the new 77A config with 28f/J? Do we have any idea when we will know more about that?

As I posted in its own thread, Republic has decided to place the 50 EMB175 frames its will operate for UA onto the Shuttle American certificate.

Actually the UA contract technically ended in December 31st and the companies agreed to a an orderly transition through April. Fleet count being utilized for UA flying in February will be 7, down to 4 in March and only 3 remaining in April.

Posted internally already if you know where to look. Aircraft code is "77G"

How many 170/175s will there be in total among all UAX operators (assuming there aren't additional orders of course)? I assume there are going to have to be additions to the mainline fleet and/or a change to the scope clause to allow for more large RJs beyond what's currently on order, correct?

Shuttle America E170 - N653RW has WiFi installed.
What is it? It's A 747-400, but that's not important right now.

When I just searched the 77G, this article from this morning came up:
http://aviationweek.com/mro/united-m...retrofit-some-777s-10-seats-across

If we can believe the source, Lie Flat beds for those 28 seats. Would fit almost the exact configuration of the sCO 777's before door 2, but someone on Flyertalk mentioned sUA's IPTE J seats would fit there well too. Depending on how quickly they plan on introducing this plane, maybe they would be removing the J seats from the sUA 3 class planes and retrofitting them as well. If that were the case, I think it would spell the draw down of Global F and 10 across on more 777's than just Hawaii.

Even if its just the HI birds, still disappointing to me. On a shorter flight like HNL, the old recliner seats are so comfortable. It's not like you're going to get 8 hours sleep anyway.

Are these planes that are going into HKG and XMN for ISP or wifi going in for routine maintenance at the same time or are these special trips just for the cabin upgrades? Thx!

I never understood the logic on the 73G numbering ... 701-724, 726-736, 750 !?! Why not just backfill 725 once that 727 was gone ... Which it was long before the last 73G delivered?

744s getting In-seat power installed at XMN
Aircraft ferries into/out of scheduled service at HKG
WiFi has been completed for a while along with streaming content
ISP should or could be the last mod upgrade for the 744

I've heard from a solid source that there are two more used 73Gs being negotiated upon. As always, time will tell...

The two used 700's will be registered as 751 and 752.

Thanks, I was curious about that.

I have wondered much the same thing. But once the deed was done, it was easiest to leave it done, I'd guess.

Yes, I won a few bar bets with check airmen over the years with that one.

How many E175s have the new winglets? I am especially interested in N86316 since I was on that plane a couple of weeks ago (I was too tired to check out the winglets; embarassing for an aviation geek, I know.). Help with my question would be very much appreciated.

All but the first aircraft OO received has the new winglets, it's supposed to go in for retrofit soon.

Since it is only a -900 and not a -900ER, not sure if the STC has been done yet.

I have noticed that over the course of the past month or so, the amount of UA A/C with Scimitar's has skyrocketed, including the -900ER's. Its nice to see them around, and I would say about 35% of the UA 737's at SAN have the scimitars now. Are they rapidly introducing them to the fleet?
