First A350 Operator To LAX?
I was wondering, who likely to be the first A350 operator to LAX? QF was the first A380 operator to LAX, and UA was the first B787 operator to LAX.

Hmmm.. I'd like to see Qatar, Finnair, Vietnam, TAM. All are possible.
Note: Those airlines currently don't serve LAX but is a possibility with the A350.

This is way out, but id be willing to bet that when AA has them, they will make an appearance at LAX

AA gets their A350s in 2017. That's 2 years after; Qatar, Singapore, Finnair, Vietnam, TAM.
In 2016, Air China, Asiana, Etihad, Lufthansa, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines.
Even some operators that receive the A350 in 2017 may start before AA; Like: TAP, Hawaiian, Air France/KLM, Delta, Ethiopian.
Very unlikely AA is the first A350 operator at LAX.
If anyone is wondering United receives its A350s in 2018.

Hawaiian will not be receiving A350's. Their order for the A350-800 was converted to A330-800neos.

Delta A350 start arriving 2Q 2017 probably at about the same time frame as the AA ones IIRC.

CX, CI may use the A359 as a sub for 77W during occ low season days or due to mx etc but I doubt it will be a regular to LAX.

I'm putting money on Asiana, to replace the 777.

when CX says the A350 will operate to secondary US/EU cities - I tend to believe what they say...

My guess would be QR DOH-LAX. LAX is the missing piece of the puzzle for QR's U.S. operations. The A350 would offer the perfect amount of capacity and efficiency for such competitive market.
