There are. Lifers are out there especially in smaller stations, but also at the legacy hubs. Laguardia is a young place. But small stations you will find people who enjoy the steady work and stay there decade after decade. I even knew some office staff from the 1960s. Important to recognize that most lifers see their career as something meaningful, not just a paycheck. Or, at least they did at one time. When tragedy strikes, and part of the system goes down, people take it very personally.
