Quoting SXI899 (Reply 47):
I'd be interested to see whether there is data available for the other smaller props (ie. Fokker 50, Saab 340).

Nothing on the F-50. On Saab from last year

Saab340 - $0.4 - $2.4, $18-36,000

Quoting bobdino (Reply 48):
Is there data on the 737-900 and 737-900ER

B737-900 - $14.0 - 28.0M, $125-250,000
B737-9ER - $26.5 - 52.0M, $255-435,000

Quoting KFlyer (Reply 49):
Any info on A300F and 332 freighter variants?

Nothing on original A300s, but have the A300-600

A300-600F - $3.5 - 8.0M, $60-120,000
A330-200F - $67.0 - $88.0, $650-800,000

Thanks LAXintl. I was hoping to see if the lease figures for almost-new narrowbodies mirror the buzz going 'round. They do seem to match up.

Quoting LAXintl (Thread starter):
A320 – $3.5 - 44.0M, $60-390,000
Quoting LAXintl (Thread starter):
B737-800 - $13.8 - 48.3M, $195-410,000

The 738 is 5% more expensive than the A320, which is discussed up-thread...

Quoting LAXintl (Thread starter):
A321 – $8.5 - 52.0M, $100-440,000
Quoting LAXintl (Reply 50):
B737-9ER - $26.5 - 52.0M, $255-435,000

...but the A321 is marginally (~1%) more expensive than the 739ER.

Any info on A300F...variants?

For a P2F A300F4-200, between USD 2-3 million (1974-1983).

This is a great thread. We do not often get the cost/values of airframes and I thank you for your research.

Frankly, I would look adorable with my own 747-SP. Loved working on that airplane--she is a real hot rod.

I cannot believe that I have watched entire generations of airliners come and go within the life of my career. I still have my original Northwest Orient 757 Workbook we had to study and complete prior to training and the first A320's that I worked in 1989 are now scrap metal. I flew to Boeing to help accept delivery of a 747-200 and distinctly recall working my first 747-400 flight (at first we hated it and wanted our -200's back) but we grew to love and respect a great airplane.

A career in the airline industry passes in a moment.

Lease rates range between USD 65,000 and 130,000 a month depending on production year (1988 to 2003) and engine PiPs.

EMB190 – $16.0 – 33.0M, $165-290,000
ATR-72 – $6.5 – 21.0M, $80-185,000

The information is derived from actual transactions along with market valuations and is current as of February 2015.

The long time bargain still remains the MD-80 series, which you can lease for the price of a new car though others like the 737-300 are getting close as well.
Pricing on some narrowbodies such as A320 and 738 ticked up slightly, while models like the A340, B744, MD11 and CR2s continue their descend.

What about the md90?

The only buyer is DL and they haven't bought recently. It is whatever price DL will pay over scrap as effectively there is no other buyer.

This isn't the MD-80 market with multiple buyers for parts or the 717 where a few active buyers are out there.

Reality is low single digit millions, mostly for the engines. With plenty of early 738s available, there is no reason for an airline to take a risk on such a rare bird.

According to my data (different source to Laxintl), the MD90 would command a monthly lease of 60-80k usd with a market value ranging 2.5-4mn usd.

I'm aware of that.

I gave the book value. As noted by Lightsaber, whether there is any demand for an MD90 away from Delta and what an airline would be willing to pay is another question.
