I rememeber back in 1999 to hear some LAN people proud of chosing the A340 as the replacement for the aging 767 fleet, at the time 320s were chosen to replace 723s for both Lan Chile and Ladeco... those days...
Those were the days when they plance an order for 7 343s, with option for another 14.
At last, LAN only took delivery of 4 brand new 340s (CC-CQA/C/E/F) and got an ex Air Canada as their last (CC-CQG).
Those were the days when we first met PTVs, foot resters in economy, snacks in the rear all night long...
