They already have 100 on order, the single conversion is just an addition to it.

orders so far this year.

If the MAX and NEO were to start being delivered today at a combined 120 frames per month, the combined backlog would last almost 4.5 years.

Given that the last of PR's A321s won't be due till 2024, is there any indication that the extra two frames (or a couple or so of the 10 conversions, for that matter) will be the -LR variant?

Interesting enough, according this press release and Airbus themselves, the deal also includes A321neo.

Source: Reuters

PARIS, May 5 (KUNA) -- Airbus signed a 100 plane deal with a Columbian airline
on Tuesday in the biggest single aircraft order ever in South American aviation
history.
"Following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) announcement in February,
Avianca has signed a purchase agreement for 100 A320neo Family aircraft, the
largest single order ever made in Latin America's aviation history," Airbus said
on its website, without disclosing the total amount of the deal.
"The agreement, which includes A319neo, A320neo and A321neo aircraft, will
allow Avianca to maintain one of the youngest fleets in the region as the
airline aims to replace airplanes currently operating from their Bogota, Lima
and San Salvador hubs," Airbus said.
"This historic order allows us to solidify our passenger experience strategy in
local markets on a broader scale," said Fabio Villegas Ramirez, Avianca Chief
Executive Officer.

Looks like Tiger has converted two A320ceo in A320neo:

Tigerair (TR, Singapore Changi) says last month, it finalized an agreement with Airbus Industrie (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) to firm up two A320neo order options. With the change, the Singaporean budget carrier's order with the Europeans now stands at thirty-nine firm aircraft, with eleven purchase options.

The options were secured under the A320neo aircraft order placed in March 2014, with a corresponding cancellation of two A320ceo transferred from Tigerair Australia (TT, Melbourne Tullamarine), which is now owned by Virgin Australia (VA, Brisbane Int'l).
Flown: A319/320/321,A332/3,A343/346, A380,AT4,AT7,B732/3/4/5/7/8/9,B742/4,B762/763,B772/77W,CR2/7/9/K,ER3/4,E70/75/90/95, F50/70/100,M11,L15,SF3,S20, AR8/1, 142/143,...

It would show up as a cancellation if that was the case. Before the number were updated I remember the A319neo orders were at 47 but at the time the A320neo orders had two more than what PDXlight had on their website. So it seems Avianca convert two of its A319neos to A320neos.

So before this order, their previous order of 33 consisted of 17 A319neos 12 A320neos and 4 A321neos. With the new order added I get 19 A319neos 110 A320neos and 4 A321neos as shown in airbus' spreadsheet. Initially I was a bit confused and thought all 100 were placed under the A320neo section. Though, I too wonder what happen to the A321neo part of the order...

“We reached an agreement with Boeing to substitute four of the 787-8s with the newest model and we are pleased to announce that we will receive a total of 14 Boeing 787-9s in the first two years"
