Quoting KarelXWB (Reply 54): Shenzhen Airlines will acquire 46 737's. |
Quoting KarelXWB (Reply 52): Three |
Quoting mffoda (Reply 60): Boeing weekly update: Changes since last update: Two new orders (Unidentified Customer(s) two 737s). |
Quote: The order will include ten A321 and two A320 airliners, which will replace the carrier's larger variants and phase out its Airbus A319 airliners. |
Quoting boefan (Reply 62): Frontier Airlines orders 12 Airbus A320 family aircraft for $1.3bn |
Quoting karadion (Reply 65): Shenzhen Airlines, an affiliate of Air China, made a purchase agreement with Boeing for 46 737's worth 4.3 billion at list price. |
Quote: Atlantic Airways, based in the Faroe Islands has signed a firm order for one new Airbus A320. With this order Atlantic Airways becomes a new A320 customer. The aircraft will be delivered at the end of 2016, enabling the carrier to tap into the growing passenger market between the Faroes and Copenhagen. Atlantic Airways’ A320 will have 168 seats. The airline operates already three Airbus A319s. |
Quoting Ab345 (Reply 72): Aren't these UA changes? |
Quoting 817Dreamliiner (Reply 75): Nope, those changes were made long ago. The 10 77Ws for UA are already listed |
Quoting CO777-200ER (Reply 78): |
Quoting CO777-200ER (Reply 78): Could this be the rumor of EK looking to add 10-15 77L?? |
Quoting Miami (Reply 79): True, true. Maybe you're right.. |
Quoting qf789 (Reply 71): Changes reduced 15 X 787 |
Quoting scouseflyer (Reply 73): Hmmm wonder who that is? DL conversion from 787 to 777? |
Quoting speedbored (Reply 80): But that would not explain the 15x787 reduction, as EK don't currently have any 787s on order, or have I missed something? |
Quoting flood (Reply 83): NH or EY could also account for the cancelled 787s. |
Quoting tortugamon (Reply 84): If this is part of one order it essentially has to be EY. NH just changed their orders this year (3 781s) and I would suspect they would do it all at once if there was going to be a change. EY has a lot of 787s on order and I could see them realizing they need more 779s then they do 789s. Then again it could be two different orders/cancellations. We'll hear soon. |
Quoting flood (Reply 83): So assuming there's a connection, NH or EY could also account for the cancelled 787s. |
Quoting tortugamon (Reply 87): |
Quoting Miami (Reply 88): 15 789 = $4,462,500,000 10 779X = $3,887,000,000 |
Quoting tortugamon (Reply 90): Air Berlin ordered in 2007 so they probably had some good discounts. The reason I say Air Berlin is because when they canceled their 787s wasn't it speculated that EY picked them up? NYC777 believes so and he thinks its the 15 unit unknown customer that Boeing has listed for 787s. EY has a bunch of options for the 787 that they can still execute if they need orders later. And the ~$580 Mil difference in the prices above (~$290 Mil after discounts) Boeing can realize sooner as they were 2017 delivery slots which makes them more money, improving cash flow, on a hypothetical new order that they could have lost due to lack of availability. |
Quoting flood (Reply 83): Ostrower mentioned on twitter the ten 777s are a top-up order for the 777X. |
Quoting KarelXWB (Reply 94): Quoting flood (Reply 83): Ostrower mentioned on twitter the ten 777s are a top-up order for the 777X. Seems to be QR. |
