3 x weekly from 1st June with A319. Seems an unusual city pairing, wonder what prompted them to give it a try.

If you mean JP at SEN, then no. They serve LGW with LJU.

SEN makes a world of sense. Travel time to central London is virtually identical when compared to STN and the SEN experience (as a passenger, at least) is thoroughly pleasant. It's an up-and-coming option that's a win for everyone.

I thought Adria was flying to LTN. Wouldn't it have more sense a rotation like LJU-LTN-MBX-LTN-LJU?
According to the schedule, the flight is posed in such a way that they'll have to do an expensive ferry from LJU to MBX and return three times a week.
Changing LTN to SEN would be smart, only if landing fees in SEN were cheaper.
But in that region they are facing fierce competition of low cost carriers, mainly Wizz Air and Easy Jet.

As fanciful as this is , I cant see 150 people filling this three times a week, unless Adria suddenly have a huge advertising budget

Whats the point on opening now London SEN? Cant they just sent 4 weekly to LJU and 3 weekly to MBX?
Anyway, people says Adria is about to collapse, same faith as Montenegro Airlines and Bosnian (JA) though the last hasn't been flying lately...

Well, JP is trying to make MBX their low-cost hub if this service to SEN works.It's planned to open 3-4 new routes from MBX in 2016.
The cheapest return ticket to SEN in 69 €,which is about 50 £
And in the first two months of service,passengers will receive free train ticket to Liverpool station from SEN
They are counting on austrian passengers to i'm sure,Graz being only 70 km or so from MBX,western Hungary isn't that far too,closer than BUD

Adria have a number of deals with UK coach tour companies that see them transfer the elderly clientele from Manchester and now Southend over to Slovenia where they are taken to the lakes and mountains such as Bled and across into South east Austria for four seven or ten days

Flying to SEN from the East makes even more sense:
- flying time being shorter, comparing to LTN or STN;
- you do not have fully enter always crowded London airspace.
Those two reasons may reduce average block time flying from the East to SEN, then if you fly to LTN by 10-15 minutes - this is huge cost saving + cheaper landing fees in SEN then in STN/LTN.

I think it will mostly be CRJ900, unless they really sell lots of tickets. For the time being the flights are planned until the end of September, if they will continue depends on the success of the route. According to the reports in the Slovene media today, JP is very happy with the ticket sale so far, quite a bit more than expected have been sold. Majority of tickets was sold in Slovenia, promotions in UK should start soon. They will also promote the flights in Croatia, Austria and Hungary.

Fair point, buy on this basis how come Wizz hasn't tried SEN ?

Yesterday in media was article how they sold out the cheap seats.But that's not really the case,i've checked online just now,the cheapest tickets are still available (in september only)
CRJ 900 is my guess too although the A319 is reserved for now on the MBX-SEN route

I think, it is because they have long term partnership with LTN and getting even more incentives because not creating a base in LTN and utilising of-peaks at LTN. I am sure Wizz is looking trying to get best deal possible.
