SN Announces Flights To ACC

Wed Jun 10, 2015 11:25 pm

http://airlineroute.net/2015/06/10/sn-acc-w15/

Starting 26 October, Brussels Airlines will be flying to ACC 4x weekly on A330-200 aircraft. The flight will continue on from ACC to LFW and back to ACC, and return to BRU late in the evening. Schedule is as follows:

SN277 BRU1100 – 1645ACC1745 – 1830LFW 332 x247
SN278 LFW1945 – 2030ACC2140 – 0525+1BRU 332 x247

This means even more congestion at Kotoka airport in the evening hours. Hoping the new Terminal 3 is completed in the not too distant future.

SN is building up its African network. Eventually it will be just as strong as that of the old Sabena, minus JNB. Thanks for posting kotoka, and welcome to airliners.net .

This is actually a return to Accra, SN previously dropped it in 2012.

Pardon me going off-topic a bit, but what is known about the new terminal 3 at ACC/DGAA? Is it the medium-rise construction that is currently being built between the control tower / VIP lounge block, and the main terminal block, on the side facing the car park? Is there any public information about its design or requirements?

What was the rationale for the previous drop ? I was a bit surprised that with SN's extensive west African network, ACC was actually not part of the list.
