I must have dozed off during the last staff meeting; why are these frames emerging sans engines?

Looks like all carriers who operate the T1000, there an issue going on at RR?

edit: 2nd 787 is for sure Etihad who operate GEnx so I wonder what the issue is here.

The flow of Trents isn't at a total standstill. While driving on I-405 (east of Seattle) on Saturday, I passed a tractor-trailer headed for Everett with a new Trent 1000 on it.

There is apparently an issue with the trust reversers that are affecting both engine manufactures

Aeroflot is looking to transfer its 787 order to another carrier. No word on who that carrier might be (Maybe Rossiya?)

So it sounds like their previous statements that they could "cancel without penalty" might have been made without legal counsel actually reviewing the purchase contracts...

Another terrible teen gets airborne: LN 15 (Air Austral 787-8) had its first flight today.

Expect LN 17, the last teen of 2016, to roll out of 40-24 any day now.

N28MS has been re-registered to 2-DEER.
This aircraft is now, as previously reported, operated by Deer Jet, a chinese VIP Charter. So if you have some dollars left...

2-DEER is seen below at Victorville on 10th August:

Interestingly this frame was listed on the 787 tables as 9V-OFF, I guess they skipped that reg.

You need to have the URL of the image file (not just the URL of the page it is on. I can't actually get the URL for that image on my mobile device, but if you right click from a computer you should get an option to "copy image address". You then use img tags around it:
[img]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/15/All_Nippon_Airways_Boeing_787-8_Dreamliner_JA801A_OKJ_in_flight.jpg/800px-All_Nippon_Airways_Boeing_787-8_Dreamliner_JA801A_OKJ_in_flight.jpg[/img]

Gives you:

Any news regarding LN13 ET-ATJ? It should be returning from VCV paint quickly to still deliver it this month, although I would presume that this is not even possible anymore.

I guess they still might be able to get LN13 ET-ATJ out of the door by 31st August
ET-ATJ just returned from paint in Victorville: (by Woodys Aeroimages on flickr)

Image

While LN15, F-OLRB for Air Austral departed for the paint shop in Victorville a few days ago.

Ps: I hope it works out with including the picture to the post, since this a flickr picture which doesn't have a direct link (or at least I can't find it)

EDIT: I seem to be not able to include it, the link to the picture is https://www.flickr.com/photos/woodysaer ... 202501321/
So what am I doing wrong?

You have to use BBCode provided by flickr sharing (or find direct link to image). Not every photo from flickr can be directly pasted, some people just disable this for their photos (though it's still possible to find direct link in site source :P ).

The URL you pasted is of the page which the image is on, you need to have an image file (eg. .jpg,/.png) for it to work. For flickr, you can use the share button at the bottom right hand of the picture (the middle icon), then BBcode, choose the size you want, copy the code and paste it in your post.

Uzbekistan Airways UK78701 LN470, their first 787, is scheduled for a delivery flight from PAE to Tashkent today. This aircraft was originally destined for an early September delivery.
While this 787 was still delivered in August, LN13 Ethiopian ET-ATJ has now a new delivery date in September on the 15th (according to nyc787.blogspot.com). This one was originally scheduled to be delivered on 30th August but returned from painting in VCV just 2 days ago.

LN396 G-ZBKG should also still be delivered in the next two days. This is one of two BA frames that had to be temporarily stored in PAE due to seat issues with Zodiac

Looks like a delay of a couple weeks in handing over ET-ATJ (LN 13).

I'm wondering what's taking LN 17 so long to emerge from 40-24. It had engines on as of a couple of weeks ago. I guess until Crystal finds a buyer there is probably no great hurry to take delivery, and Boeing will be happy as long as delivery happens in 2016.

Crystal has already found a buyer. Delivery will still be made to Crystal. Delivery is expected in November 2016 so they have time to finish it prior to delivery.

Crystal changed their airline strategy. They took a used 777-200LR and I think they are looking for a couple more 777s. They determined the 787 was too small for them. So they decided to take delivery of the 787 but put it immediately up for sale.

Glad to hear it has a buyer and very curious who the buyer is.

Does anyone have a status update on LN 325, the BBJ assumed to be delivered for Brunei Royal Family? I'm only asking because the plane it is supposed to be replacing (V8-MHB - 1993 build 762ER) seems to have been retired (or at least has been in a Hamburg hangar for 2+ months). So assuming this is correct, one would assume the 787 to be delivered soon...
Thanks

I would assume it is getting outfitted somewhere at a VIP outfitting facility, but I don't know it's location. But since that one has been just delivered for about a year now I would expect it to take at least another 6 months up to a year to complete the outfitting

The first B787-9 for Xiamen Airlines will be LN498 and is scheduled to enter final assembly at Charleston shortly

Something's going on in Everett:

There hasn't been a 787 rollout from FAL in Everett since August 17th. Going on 15 days. Norm is every 3.5 days.

The LCFs have been quiet lately too. Not anywhere close to the usual flight load.

Sounds to me like the usual Boeing summer break, usually taking place in August. We'll see if things crank back up starting next week after the US holiday weekend.
