Quoting northwestEWR (Thread starter): It's also possible we'll see a DTW-ATL-DTW subbed to the 744 in order to position the airplane to ATL. |
Quoting DariusBieber (Reply 4): Does it have anything to do with the Atlanta Falcons playing the Minnesota Vikings on 11/29? |

Quoting northwestEWR (Reply 8): I'm sure the Falcons/Vikings are helping but travel demand between the two largest domestic hubs on the Sunday after Thanksgiving is essentially endless. It's also a way for Delta to let their former Northwest employees visit family in MSP and get back to ATL for Monday morning work. That's a HUGE non-rev travel day and it's important to support the employees. |
Quoting MSPNWA (Reply 10): I doubt this has much, if anything, to do with supporting employees. It's about maximizing revenue on a busy travel day. Like a normal flight there wasn't much non-rev room on them last year. One of them I was on was completely full. |
