I know it is being discussed on a separate thread, but with the 10 new 175's announced today, do we know about any changes to the CR2's? How many will be left by the end of the year?

The next three 789s (960-62) are all in Final Assembly in Charleston. Only five more after that.
IIRC all ten 773s will come fairly quickly beginning Dec'16, then nothing til the 78-10s and A350s starting in '18.

HAECO put out a little press releases about the worlds first 787 C-check.

This was on a UA frame - ship 904.

16 Sep 2015
HAECO Group Completes Boeing 787-8 C-Check

HAECO Group announced today that it has completed its first C-check on a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and redelivered the aircraft to a leading international airline in September. This marks HAECO as one of the first independent Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service providers to perform a C-check on this new generation of aircraft.

Augustus Tang, HAECO Group’s Chief Executive Officer said: “This milestone underscores HAECO Group’s technical expertise and dedication to operational excellence, adding a new chapter to the continual advancement of the Group’s capabilities."

In addition to airframe maintenance checks, HAECO Group provides full line services for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, including defect rectification, certification and aircraft release – at Hong Kong International Airport and at seven major aviation hubs in Mainland China, including Xiamen, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Nanjing and Chongqing.

First A-320 # 4643 In Seat Power/First Class Seat Replacement, to follow A-319 4008, should be going into LCQ with a ETR of 27 Sept 2015.

Ex-COPA birds are not ETOPS but will be scheduled for Wi-Fi/ISP & ETOPS targeted with Slimline, next year.

So it looks like 737-700s will eventually get SlimLines.

These fleet numbers are in sequence with existing 319's which end at 4055, so must be same configuration?

Looks very much so, -131s . These look to be in addition to the 4800 number series, which are -132s.

By June of next year, all aircraft should have WiFi installed. Except for the new Fleet arrivals.

I presume it's got to do with the -131 having higher thrust IAEs than the -131, just as QF's A380-842 have higher thrust Trent 900s than LH's A380-841s.

According to your web site, there are only 4 more 739s on order with the last one coming online 2/2016. By early 2016, UA will be retiring an additional 11 752s.

It might have been posted somewhere previously but is there a tentative date when the 772As are going to begin mods for domestic ops? Also, has a ballpark date been established for the gradual arrival of the China Southern 319s? It's been a painful few years to see the UA mainline fleet literally shrink with the massive retirements so hopefully this is the last period where they'll see a net loss.

Realizing, of course, that discontinuing the JFK P.S. operation will allow for some EWR narrowbodies to integrate back into the system so there's still a sliver of hope for the domestic mainline operation.

Here's how I see it. It looks like Intl wide bodies will be pinched with 10 772s going and 3 744s going while only 8 789s area added - net of -5

Fleet totals
Narrowbodies: 752 -10, 739 +4, 319 +25 (don't know phasing) - net +19
Widebodies: 744 -3 (1 2015, 2 2016), 789 +8, net +5, but -10 intl units with phaseout of Intl 772A

Mod Estimates
Narrow:
maybe +2 319/320 for Power/F Seats
73G: WiFi will be completed by end of year, maybe 2 released units cover for 319/320 mod
Assume no change 738739 continue slimline reconfiguration
752: sCO WiFi complete release 1 mod unit
753, continue WiFi mod (5 to go, then another 5 need power)
763: see it as a push, WiFi will complete, 2 class mod line to start
772: Estm +2 out for 772A domestic conversion and Hawaii front cabin going lie flat
Net is 1 released narrowbody
Net is 2 Widebodies pulled out for reconfiguration
Remember, there will be several units released by ps move to EWR and maybe 20 units released by eventual increase by 10 of 772A domestic operation.

73G:
N25705 - scheduled to exit INT 2185/28Sep with WiFi/scimitars
N13750 - was in IAH 9/22 to 9/27 - very slight possibility of scimitars?

752:
N19136 - exited LAX 1985/27Sep after damage repair caused by AS pushback on 9/13/15

Not entirely certain that all of the 77A will be converted in 2016 either...

Not that I know of....It's possible all the 789s will be delivered by summer of 2016 but I am fairly certain the 77Ws will be delivered starting in late 2016.

Maybe someone has a better schedule then I do?

Nov/Dec 2016 is what I heard for the first 77W...

Do you expect an STC/retrofit to the fleet, or just new airplanes going forward?

Well looky looky. Acft # 889 came through. Noticed there is no nose gear taxi light. LED lights for wheel well illumination.

Really? Those have been around for years; I'd assumed, ever since the introduction of the revised plug/nozzle combo. Ours had it, and it was a 2012 build.
Perhaps not so?

Why is there a difference? Seems odd to have a difference with the same # of seats.

Not sure why there's a difference as 12ABC is E+ on some and not on others. The Break down is:

12ABC E+ (20F / 42E+ / 117Y)
units in 3401-3442 with slimline
units in 3801-3810 with slimline (right now only 3802)

12ABC Y (20F / 39E+ / 120Y)
units in 3443-3478 with slimline
units in 3811 and above range

What's weird is that 3443 and 3444 are the last non Sky interior units, but they have the same config as the Sky interior units.

So, we have two different configs for each of the sCO and sUA 739ERs. Not sure why.

Yeah, looking back at a thread about the new CFM upgrades with the short nozzles, my pictures and posts showed the new nozzles, cone and heat shield. Guess this one was so new with the bright sunlight, it looked different. Plus the had warning stamps on them.

Added 2 rows on the left and 3 rows on the right of E seats in front of the E+ seats at the exit rows.

Only two more 739s 0991/0992 look to be coming this year. 0992 is LN5620 and then nothing up to the current end of the list 5730.

Anyone have a clue about what the price difference would be to have the heavy maintenance performed on the wide bodies in the U.S.? If you factor in the cost to fly the a/c round trip to HKG or XMN, the lost revenue due to the longer ferries etc, the cost difference might not be that big.
