Wow Air: Hello Bro, Sis

Fri Sep 18, 2015 9:48 pm

Well this is funny: after registering the first two A321's TF-MOM and TF-DAD, Wow Air now registered their latest two A320's TF-BRO and TF-SIS.

Well these are the birds they have been using since 2013, they used to be LZ-MDC and LZ-MDD.
The really big question is what other family members fit in 3 letters.
According to rumours from WOW they expect to get at least 3 more aircraft before S16 starts.

Nothing compares to taking off in an empty 757 with full thrust!

TF-DOG

Passengers will not want to fly on a plane called a DOG. They want one that sounds like it will work right.

It crashed on approach to BRE in 1966 killing all 46 aboard. It still ranks as LH's 2nd worst accident after the 747-100 at NBO in 1974 with 59 fatalities (the first fatal 747 hull loss).

For those who find the names unusual, what about TF-WTF?
Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world
The heart has its beaches, its homeland and thoughts of its own
Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings
The heart has its seasons, its evenings and songs of its own

AC had an A319 C-FWTF from 2003 to 2007 when it was returned to the lessor.

After brief service with defunct U.S. LCC Skybus, it's now OO-SSN with Brussels Airlines.
