Quoting boefan (Reply 101): You can see a B747 also during the video but it is unknown if it will be painted or not |

Quoting Miami (Reply 104): I honestly don't know what has happened to airline liveries these days. |
Quoting mariner (Reply 110): Quoting CCA (Reply 109): Bold and beautiful was clearly NOT the ethos, bland and dull apparently was. Or graceful and elegant. |
Quoting CXGabriel (Reply 117): Looks like they've pulled the youtube video. I don't think it looks that bad. I agree without the red seemed incomplete, but I don't hate it. |
Quoting by738 (Reply 116): It does look clean contemporary and understated. |
Quoting PlanesNTrains (Reply 124): I guess one question I have is don't airlines usually pass things like this by a focus group or something so that real people - perhaps frequent flyers - can give an honest, non-vested opinion on the change? It just seems odd that a company would roll something out without having a pretty good idea that it will be received well. |

Quoting Miami (Reply 130): Happy November 1st, everyone! |
Quoting a320fan (Reply 137): The current scheme was starting to date slightly, what this design does is flatten and clean it up a bit. It now looks very 2015, not 1995. |
Quoting mariner (Reply 125): Maybe there was a focus group or groups for this. Or do you know there was not? |
Quoting PlanesNTrains (Reply 124): That's not necessarily directed at this change, but rather at airline livery updates/changes in general. |

Quoting kaitak (Reply 144): Incidentally, what are CX's plans for its 772 fleet? They are coming up to 20 yrs old now (and obviously, 'HNL over 20, being the first). Since the A330 can do pretty much anything the 772 can do, only more efficiently, I wonder is the clock already running on this fleet? (I'm in no hurry to see them go; my first 777 flight was on 'HNC, from SEL to TPE and HKG - Kai Tak. Happy memories!) |
