So will SU now increase frequency to MIA? I don't think LAX or JFK since they are already flown daily by SU. But can MIA go from 2x weekly to 4/5?

According to Russian news sources as of a few hours ago, the S7 deal has fallen through. Transaero is no more. The last flight has been flown and a chapter is closed in Russian aviation history.

I hope UN crew are able to find new jobs as quickly as possible, a large portion of them will head over to SU. A video has surfaced of a flight attendant giving the last thank you and goodbye upon landing, followed by applause:

"Dear passengers, today our crew is completing our last flight. We thank you, that for your travels, you have chosen our airline. We say farewell to you all, and from the bottom of our hearts we wish you the very best, happiness and good luck. Thank you for being with us."

Aeroflot flies to Miami 4x a week.

Why does every thread need to be turned into who flies to MIA and how often. Relax. Contribute to the topic at hand instead.

Yesterday, I tried to find some brand-new pictures but I did not find anything. Does anybody have a link to a local spotter forum?

Had Transaero moved the 4-5 odd 747-400s that were sitting in Melbourne (FL - MLB) a couple of weeks ago?

On Sept. 15th I saw in ALA one A321 in new livery. According to Skyliner Aviation EI-SVX left the fleeft for storage. As I didn't see themr registration, might it be that one?

Not just 3 or 4 744s, two 777 stored since quite some time were also there.

There are only 4 B747-400s here in MLB, nothing else.

Btw El Pais (one of leading newspapers in Spain) has an article about those Transaero flights to Teruel

http://economia.elpais.com/economia/.../actualidad/1446316300_619454.html

The interesting thing about Teruel is that is one of the most isolated and least populated areas in Spain and Western Europe (it has a population density of less than 10 ppl/sqkm., comparable to Russia's). So there is something surreal about those Russian "jumbos" landing in that remote location.
