Thought I'd share; TK 77W model (Istanbul-Miami livery) in MIA.

Did they paint an actual aircraft in those colors like the SFO livery?

I'm not sure. A buddy of mine told me (a few months ago) that was the plan but I haven't heard anything since.

It appears the 77W is TC-JJK, so likely the normal Turkish livery.

It still is unsure. It's a sticker so no painting is necessary. We'll just have to wait and see.

Yup, it was the standard livery. But nice to see an addition to Wilcox Field MIA and the loads of av geeks out there to spot TK and the other new 380 arrivals. Pretty impressive H and J terminals.

Hope it's more successful than the previous service, TK used to fly an A343 to MIA years ago.

Cheers, Ralph

Is TK sending their 2 class, or 3 class 77W on the route?

3 class. I did some random bookings and the 3 class shows up. I understand they will eliminate economy comfort? Does anyone have a list of the fleet with the 2 and 3 class 77W?

I had a chance to go watch the arrival from 94th Squadron parking lot, unfortunately, it landed on RWY12 (expected RWY12R instead). Anyway, a HUGE day for MIA with all the other events on the same day. Congrats to TK, MIA!!

BA A380 ...

And it looks like the A380 had a special cargo: 6 white Rhinos from SA: http://www.aircargonews.net/news/air...gos-rhino-transport-challenge.html

Things have changed so much since this. TK's connecting opportunities back then were a pittance compared to what they are now.

What is demand JNB MIA in EADEW (Endangered Animals Daily Each Way)? Perhaps this can support a potential MIA JNB flight on AA as A.net wants!

TC-JJE until TC-JJP has 3-class --> C28 W63 Y246
TC-JJR until TC-LJC has 2-class --> C49 Y300

Until end of this year, some 3-class aircraft see removal of comfort class.

Wow! Quite the cargo and yes, 94th Squadron was full. Lots of excitement there. I thought TK would land on runway 9, but cool nonetheless. When it departed it took 8R.

Is that good loads? Maybe a smaller 330 would be better for this route.
