Well, they do have an airliner breaking yard at SFB...maybe BA's arrangement with VCV is not exclusive.
None shall pass!!!!

Automatic Leasing are taking this 767 as well as nine of their 737-400s parked at VCV.
Question everything. Trust no-one.

As it left from CWL I guess seats and stuff have been removed.

There are seven BA 763s, G-BNWC, 'WD, 'WH, 'WN, 'WO, 'WR and 'WU that have been parked at VCV since the first arrived there in November 2013. These seven 763s are still owned by and registered to BA. In theory at least they could all be returned to service even though this is most improbable.

All nine 734s sold to Florida based Automatic on 1 October are now on the American register. So for example the former G-DOCA is now N267AT, 'CF is now N407AU and 'CL is N842AT. I assume that they have been reregistered so they can be ferried to SFB or elsewhere for parting out.

Spares for the existing fleets I'll guess, It's usually only First/Business seats that are saved, economy isn't really worth it.

Presumably though the aluminium frames have value as scrap metal, though?
I only turn left when boarding aircraft. Well, mostly. All right, sometimes. OH OKAY - rarely.

Although most withdrawn BA aircraft go to Victorville, a few don't:

G-BNLB & G-BNLC were torn up at Cardiff.
G-BNLZ was sent to Kemble.
Long live the Boeing 747!

18 744s are going through a cabin reconfiguration to Super High J which requires quite a lot of extra J seats. Some of these come from withdrawn 744s, some from 744s that are being reconfigured to Mid-J, and some will no doubt have come from the 763 fleet.

The 763s and 744s don't have the same J Class seat.

You are absolutely correct and used also for the long haul 767 birds that have damaged seats

Sanford has a large scrapping operation. Recent visitors have included several CX 747-400 and Virgin A340-600 aircraft, not to mention Malaysia 777's and an Air China 744 too!

That would depend on whether they are short haul or long haul 763s. But BNWV was a refurbished long haul 763 and had the standard Club World seats.

No they don't. They had the first generation of the flat bed still just with new covers and plastics. The latest club world seat was never installed on the 767.

Most demand for 734s is for freighter conversion. Most of the QANTAS fleet went to VCV and then gradually left again to be converted to freighters. They don't need any interiors in that case! This must be a good possibility. Same goes for 767s as well.

'WN and 'WR are reported as derelict at VCV so unlikely to ever to fly again.

In truth, I suspect 'WN and 'WR have had salvagable spares removed and the basic airframe remains.

Does the RR engines make the BA 767s basically worthless as used aircraft?

I thought that BA's refurbished long-haul 763s were fitted with a modified J Class seat. I understood this was required because their cabin was too narrow to fit the standard J Class seats that are fitted in BA's 772s, 77Ws, 744s and 380s. Is this incorrect?

Don't know where you are getting this idea from but the in short, the airframes are clapped out. Some might have less cycles than the others, e.g. the long haul versions, but these aircraft are at the end of their working lives.

They were fitted with the first generation flat bed and never updated from that (apart from new covers and a slight change of colours on a select few aircraft) due to various reasons.

They're worthless because nobody bought RR 767s except BA and some obscure Chinese airline. They don't have commonality for other operators who have PW or GE.
