EK Special A380 Livery
Emirates has painted at least two A380 in a new Wildlife Livery...
It seems the Livery, featuring some of the Planet's endangered species is to raise awareness for the cause.

by the way, I think this may be a first where 'Emirates' title is not showing on the fuselage.... any other EK Liveries that have removed the Emirates name on the fuselage.?

Not a huge EK fan, but I have to give them credit for doing the custom livery and leaving their own branding out of it. Nice work.

Good to see this initiative.
In the Open Skies edition on my recent flight was a major article Hunted To Extinction highlighting the problem of the illegal trade in animal products.
Regarding this impressive livery, it's hard not to know which airline it is. The Arabic writing and the Emirati flag on the tail give it away.

This. And from a statistical point of view: halve of the current A380 fleet belongs to EK so the odds are 50-50 that any A380 you see is an EK bird
But as someone who has to deal with "corporate design/identity" manuals on a daily basis: it's unusual to remove most of the core branding and i would say that EK is very self-confident regarding their brand in this case. Nice! A lot of companies wouldnt dare that.

With the amount of money they spend on marketing, that is a poor livery IMO. They could've made something much better and creative than that but, the message is what counts

Hmm I don't like it when they use real life photos as a decoration on aircraft. Would have been much better if the animals were painted by an artist.

Well done EK for raising awareness. I've never been a great big fan of their special liveries as it's always been simple but this occupies the entire length of the fuselage.
As for the EK logo being removed you always have the large red belly titles.
