Knew it! Just like they did it with the CSeries.

As far as weather is concerned for now: Friday should be dry, partly cloudy at 9 degrees celsius.

No! If she would do so, she could not pass the observation deck twice and do the 180-turn.

Quoting LSZH34 (Reply 152):

Exactly   But JNA will taxi a bit more towards the north, in order to be able to turn.

And the observation deck will open already at 07:00 am (LT) for this event

I see the former LX flew a handful of 747s back in the day. Did they ever fly any other Boeings?

Not the former LX, Swissair or SR flew five between 1971 and 2000. Just for the record, January 29, 1971 is the date when SR took delivery of its first Boeing aircraft from the manufacturer with HB-IGA. 35 years later history repeats itself, this time with LX and a 77W.

We'll only know for sure tomorrow. AC878 to ZRH has departed with about 45 minutes of delay and so far, after half an hour in the air, is expected 45 minutes late.

Nope!

Thursday the aircraft is needed for internal use.
Friday is a Welcome Event, but just for LX Staff.
Sunday is kind of a "public" event, but also only for LX Staff + three family members/friends.
Anyway you needed to register way in advance for this event.

So both events are NOT PUBLIC! Not too much hope for the general public please.

G'day

So are these LX 773's now being flown by former LX HS146 err.. Avro RJ pilots to "manage" costs?  Wow!

or are former more costly sidestick drivers also allowed in the cockpit?

I believe the 77W pilots come from both the Avro group and the Airbus group.
