DL will re-hub both CVG and MEM, with KL and KE flying 2x7 repositioning flights between them using their A380s. You heard it here first.

Being barked at by FAs who personally witnessed the Hindenburg disaster is a priviledge and an honor to the unwashed masses who are graced with their presence, don't cha know.

Boeing will build the 747-8 at the rate of one every two years just to keep the line open.

1) Find Shasquatch.
2) Find Hoffa.

5) Missing car keys.

If the 787 was delivered on time, Airbus would be bankrupt by now.

Proper pilots use a Yoke, gamesters use a sidestick.

If a Tech ops thread has too many pilots they will argue the procedures, jeppesen, the manuals down to grammar.

Al Baker insist on putting flying carpets on their A350 that is why he never takes delivery on time.

The a380 is so quiet that you can't fart without being caught.

Airline food is the reason some people fly.

Ryanair will buy Airbus.

There is a major A380 30 airframe order just around the corner....

Coach Class setas are designed by torture chamber experts.

There is a reason why Airbus aircraft say "retard, retard" when landing....AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS....

-The B736/A318/B717 are heavy, uneconomical wastes of equipment that serve absolutely no purpose for airlines whatsoever.

-PHX will never see flights to Asia or Europe (outside of London) because it's too close to LAX/DFW/SAN/LAS and the demand (and the money) does not exist.

-Turboprops are unsafe because the media said so.

-Yields are the only thing that matter to airiines.

-Any airliner with more than two engines are too costly to operate.

-The A342/343s are powered by hair driers.

* CASM is king.

* However, downgauging the aircraft flown in a given route is a sure way to increase profitability for airline A, even if CASM increases, and regardless of what airlines B, C and D, that also fly the route, do or will do. This is why A319s and 73Gs are in such hot demand.

Were it not for those damn stupid Himalayas being in the way, SFO would have 20 daily flights to India following the exact great circle route.

No one wants to fly the ME3 because of human rights violations in the Arab countries.

People from the Indian Subcontinent only care about price, not product, unlike every other ethnicity.

PHL TLV and IAD KWI BAH were pulled because of crazy conspiracies, not because of poor loads and yields.

QF's statements about flying 22-hour direct flights are real feasible plans, not just media clickbait.

Frequent flier bloggers are a reliable source of analysis on how airline executives make decisions.

And my favorite of course, Frank Lorenzo doesn't eat airline food when he flies UA today because he's afraid of being poisoned by a disgruntled FA.

Military aviation and space.. represent!

- Killing the F-35 would single-handedly free up enough cash to eliminate world poverty.

- New USAF program awards are actually countdowns to the inevitable protest

- Indian Air Force Su-30s achieved infinity to one kill ratio against [insert nation here]'s air force in recent exercises

- USAF made a huge blunder in leaving thrust reversers out of the KC-46

- Indian Air Force will field infinite squadrons of the LCA Tejas by 2030

Any airport that requires you to walk more than 1 foot (30.48cm) from baggage claim to a high speed train to city center cannot possibly serve and attract traffic from said city. None. 0%.

Every major city's airport is totally constrained in land so they must build a billion dollar airport 2 hrs drive time away and connect it to the city with HSR.

There won't be another A380neo thread tomorrow.

An A380 couldn't possibly divert into XXX airport because they don't have a gate for it.

Only Delta TechOps knows how to maintain a plane, no other airline has a clue.

BA retired another 747-400 to the desert today, lets start a thread for it.

An A321 neo LR (or whatever it is called this week) will have room for 200 pax and 3 items of checked baggage.

757s should not be allowed to fly westbound TATL during the winter.

UA however pulled this result.
