The poor old aussie Lady must be shivering, dont think she saw too much snow in her previous life! Jokes aside, they look great in the Westjet livery with the winglets and I am glad to see these well maintained birds soldier on! Best of luck to Westjet and their LH plans!

I'm noticing the top angle of the tail logo on Ship 2 looks more pronounced. Apparently Ship 1's logo was a bit...flat....and is supposed to be going in for an adjustment...

Are these planes being flown by Boeing pilots or Westjet pilots? Gotta say the 767 looks great in Westjet colors!

You have to assume American crews as N reg aircraft and unfamiliar with Westjet ramp

(Totally beside the point - but interesting random fact all the same)... I think that you might be spot on.

I don't think the Westjet birds were around for the days when QF sent their own metal to Taiwan and Korea (and the configuration across the fleet was more or less the same) - so that leaves the Japan services and I think that these were the planes in the domestic/shorthaul configuration (the first one VH-OGG was certainly a domestic configuration) ... so the answer is I think it is unlikely that they have seen many sub-zero temps.

Of course these jets have experienced sub-zero temperatures.... They flew at 30k + feet every day.

+1

Yes - good point

It did occour to me that QF did send the 767s across the Tasman for a number of years

Comparison of tails, slight angle diff. between ship 1 (wrong) & 2 (corrent)

It's subtle (and the angles were a bit different to try to overlap), but ship one's tail has a shallower top angle, and the lower white segment is too wide at the bottom. I believe it is going to be corrected. Also heard from an insider that ships 3 & 4 are arriving very soon.

Perhaps I barely notice that difference, yes.

Really? That would contradict what's been said recently: WestJet To Lease 767s From Omni (by SpaceshipDC10 Nov 26 2015 in Civil Aviation)

Unless have changed the 3rd was coming Jan/Feb and the 4th in April....

Things do change of course, the second was expected Dec 15 but obviously that was changed for the better.

Given that Westjet is busy in getting ETOPS certificate and begining Hawiai flights, I doubt they will send the plane to the hanger to correct it, especially when 99.99999% of people will not notice the difference

I think the "subtle" difference is from where the pictures were taken...

Exactly, something's are a little higher on the priority list right now. Eventually OGJ will be taken out of service to have the wifi system installed but not sure when.

For the better indeed, would be cool to have all four sooner.
