What was the flight number? I’m guessing it was C-FRAX

Either AC is interested in the 321NEO LR, they're talking with Boeing about the upcoming MoM, or they over estimated the amount of capacity they need with their narrowbody fleet.

Could see the MOM for TATL. But there's no way they are buying the 321LR, right after they picked up the 737 MAX family.
They might exercise some of their options soon:

And they do have to replace the AC Rouge fleet at some point. I wonder if they upsize to 738MAX or use similar sized CS300s for replacement of the 319s in Rouge's fleet. Sunwing is going 738MAX. Transat is leasing 321LRs.

I hear 'ya. I wish Boeing would have made it a bit wider to match the A320. Still a damn good looking aircraft though.

4 MAX 8s & 3 MAX 7s have been substituted for the 7 MAX 9s originally scheduled to be delivered between 2018-2019. And they now have 12 MAX 10s on order. 7 of which were originally to be MAX 8s.

Effectively they have changed their 737-9 order into the 737-10, just getting their largest model 4 years later.
ps.

That's interesting, I believe they previously had 65 firm orders

Yes, then dropped to 50 when they ordered 787s. Now back up to 55.
