That is CCCP-77107, according to Scramble's database by the authors of the Soviet Transports books it's stored in Kazan, see http://www.scramble.nl/soviet-database?af=60576&bt=180&view=details

I just found it on Google Earth.
It is a bit southwest of the Borisoglebskoe airfield, on the north side of Kazan. Adjacent to the Kazan aviation technology institute. The street address appears to be 2A Dementyeva street.

BTW, 77107 is a prototype for one of the two SU 1:400 Herpa models - a bit strange that it's neither of -06, -09, or -10, that actually were in service. Instead, it's the one that is still in use - sort of...

"Slightly" off topic, but I think it's relevant, the first and the most well known test pilot of the Concorde, André Turcat, has passed away today, aged 94.

It's not a backyard, it's stored at the Kazan Technical University. Not too long ago they powered up the electric & hydraulics and operated the canards and nose.

Wow, thanks for posting the link. Crazy to see that parts of it are functioning. Would be a great hobby to take up and restore something like that to mint condition.

Yup, this is where they were assembled and also where Tu-22's and Tu-160's get overhauls and modernisation.
