Regarding MSN1 in Finland:

http://youtu.be/wU9QME4QbS4

Apparently MSN1 suffered a hydraulic failure.

See http://lentoposti.fi/uutiset/airbus_...orjaamaan_a350_xwb_koelentokonetta

Quote:
The machine had to be towed back to the apron by two Air Force's heavy rescue and clearing vehicle. The reason for the suspension of flights was a failure in the hydraulic system of the machine.

That could explain the odd towing of MSN1 inFinland.

Maybe I'm mistaken but I think MSN12 needs to perform a RTO first.

First engine run and RTO are usually not done on the same day.

Yes, but she went for a long(ish) taxi ride. Perhaps not under her own power? I doubt it, considering the speeds she reached.

Also a minor reprimand to Karel for not including them in the first post.

I'm expecting MSN27 to have it's FF end of next week. TAC is planned for 26th Feb.

The next 6 TAC's I can see in order are:
MSNs 12>27>22>21>23>29. (although MSNs 22 & 21 are very close).

I am curious as to whether the first LATAM A350 in the new livery will receive its complete paint prior to delivery or will they roll it out of the assembly line in plain white until all the testing is done, then deliver it to paint and an unveiling in Brazil. Anybody have any word on this?

The 4th LATAM A350 (MSN 45) should receive the new livery from factory. Aircraft is already in final assembly and will feature a different cabin configuration as well.

On the production lists, are the blank spots unassigned aircraft to be built, or unsold slots to be filled?

Saw a picture of the MLG for the A350-1000, looks mighty fine if I do say so. I think it will look a fantastic aircraft when t rolls out.

unassigned or assignment unknown aircraft to be build. We can not deduct unsold slots from those lists.

Based on the movements in TLS it seems an A350 is now being loaded into FAL every 6 days.

Thanks Karel. This year we should see it move from rate 5 to rate 7 - which would mean a oad rate of about one every 4.5 days.

Pretty accurate statement I would say.

Here in Broughton we are now delivering 2 sets of A350 Wings to Bremen every 7-10 days. This week MSNs 56 & 57 will be delivered.

Look out for MSN27, it has had it's permit to fly. RTO should be this afternoon and FF tomorrow.
