I feel like VS have missed a trick here. Are these not routes they could be operating with their new B787's?

Doesn't that make LAS the only USA gateway with service to three LON airports?

No, because JFK already has flights to LHR, LCY and LGW.
From May this year it will even have flights to all three on the same airline when BA resumes LGW-JFK service. Norwegian are already flying the route to LGW.

Oh, duh... silly me.

In my abject disdain for the LCY-JFK service having inherited the callsign "Speedbird001/002," I guess I blocked it out.

Good stuff!!! I agree...incredibly poor replacement for the once undisputed king of flagship routes.

Virgin don't have spare B787s for regional flying, they're premium heavy and LHR based.

Have Thomas Cook shown any interest of investment towards the A350 or 787? I was thinking possibly in respect of the West Coast USA routes.
There isnt really a dark side to the moon, as a matter of fact its all dark!
