Quoting aerorobnz (Reply 209): On a related note while boozing it up in the Koru Club on a grabaseat day trip I noticed ZK-POE was operating for Originair NSN-PMR-NSN, |
Quoting zkncj (Reply 2): And quite frankly, there is no "regional terminal" - it is the same terminal, |

I've seen the pencil-plane flying into NSN many times over the last month or so, but never knew who it was flying for or where it was going, so its good to finally know |
Quoting zkncj (Reply 3): Well Jetstar sort just changed with there new Gate 62/63, that is an Regional Shed. |
Quoting zkeoj (Reply 4): Yup, but funny enough they have not all prop-flights going from there - some are also from the "upstairs jet gates". I actually quite like the shed, despite it having no services other than a vending machine and toilets. But it is funky |
Quoting thomasphoto60 (Reply 9): Has NZ reduced their IAH route, seems their Tuesday service has been absent for the last 2 weeks? |
Quoting PA515 (Reply 10): Quoting thomasphoto60 (Reply 9): Has NZ reduced their IAH route, seems their Tuesday service has been absent for the last 2 weeks? NZ28 AKL-IAH and NZ29 IAH-AKL was Tu We Th Fr Su. This has changed to We Th Fr Sa Su and will be We Th Fr Su next week. After next week it's Mo Th Fr Sa Su until 28 Oct. The AKL-IAH schedule from 29 Oct hasn't been updated on the Air NZ website. It shows We Fr Su which is just a pro forma schedule based on the original Apr-Oct schedule. Should go to six weekly or daily by 06 Dec. PA515 |

Quoting DavidByrne (Reply 14): then back to 5x weekly from the week of 12 December and through until March 2017 |
Quoting DavidByrne (Reply 14): is there still more change yet to come before the published schedule becomes definitive? |
Quoting sunrisevalley (Reply 17): Then if I correctly understand what you are saying there is 7 and a bit 789's in the schedule. |
Quoting sunrisevalley (Reply 17): the airline says the switch to electric will save around 65,000 litres of fuel per year and it's creating what's believed to be the leading corporate electric vehicle fleet in New Zealand. |
Quoting ZKOJH (Reply 18): |
Quoting motorhussy (Reply 23): A 788 with a Middle Eastern flag similar to the UAE's flew out of WLG today. Anyone know whose it was and what it was doing here? |
Quoting SXI899 (Reply 24): A6-PFC of the Abu Dhabi Amiri Flight operated WLG-AKL as AUH4. Arrived in WLG on the evening of the 16th from CBR. Unfortunately no idea what the reason is for the visit. |
Quoting mariner (Reply 25): McCully welcomes UAE Foreign Minister |
Quoting sunrisevalley (Reply 29): Does this one increase the fleet or is it a replacement ? |
Quoting PA515 (Reply 30): Q300 which replaces the TIU-WLG 1900D |
Quoting PA515 (Reply 31): HKK-CHC 1900Ds (eff. 02 May) |
Quoting 777ER (Reply 33): I thought HKK got cancelled, or am I getting Westport mixed up with HKK? |
Quoting PA515 (Reply 31): And ZK-MVK is due towards the end of Apr replacing the NSN-WLG-TRG etc Q300 |
Quoting Andrensn (Reply 34): Quoting 777ER (Reply 33): I thought HKK got cancelled, or am I getting Westport mixed up with HKK? HKK is still going. Has had Q300s for a while now. Westport was closed by NZ and was replaced by Sounds Air |
Quoting Andrensn (Reply 34): Quoting PA515 (Reply 31): And ZK-MVK is due towards the end of Apr replacing the NSN-WLG-TRG etc Q300 Does this mean Mount Cook will now have to base new ATR pilots and F/A's out of Nelson? |
Quoting 777ER (Reply 35): I thought Mt Cook already had a crew base at NSN due to their current ATR ops |
Quoting NZ1 (Reply 32): ZK-MVL is actually arriving before ZK-MVK, albeit by about a week. Both due for delivery mid May. |
Quoting Andrensn (Reply 36): The new Wellington service in the morning would lead to the first overnighting ATR |
Quoting sunrisevalley (Reply 39): so how many 1900D's will be left eff. May 3rd ? |
