Looks like the livery will be this:

Well, I'll be "that guy" and just express how much I'll miss the current LAN livery. Having said that, this tail is much better than the incarnation previously referenced that was the entire South America outline.

Another Eurowhite? At least they could not super impose the logo on the tail.

It's almost good - I'd like to see the airline's logo next to the name and that would fill up the fuselage a bit better.

Its an A350. You can just make out the A350 style winglets (or shaklets..) on the engine.

Absolutely. I think the current LAN livery looks great and it'll be disappointing to see it replaced with this livery.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how LAN will be utilizing the new 789's? Are most going to be based out of LIM? I ask since I will be flying LA in August to LIM from JFK and noticed that the 789 will replace the 763 that currently flies to JFK.

Why have a combined new look anyway ? The LA & JJ branding is well recognized.

When the 787 morphs into an A350 most likely   The second photo is of the 787-9 in assembly and not an A350 - hence no raccoon eyes.

Hopefully the scheme looks better when completed than the mock up - loved the LAN livery.

L A T A M on the fuselage creates a gaping chasm of yawn from me, what an incredibly boring title design. And it creates no connection with the vortex on the tail which, because of the vertical stabiliser, is the shape of an upside down South American continent. I already miss the current LA logo and livery which along with the previous CX is among my faves.

If I look at the 789 photo out of the corner of my eye, I see a hint of Eurowings on the tail. Hardly a good sign.

Well, I must admit I loathe the TAM livery and have in every permutation of it for the past 15/20 years. Cheap, poorly done, unattractive and captured nothing of Brazil. I actually prefer the LATAM livery, just a bit more, although that does not mean I like it. It just underscores how much I dislike TAM's livery.

It is sad to see the LAN livery go, and I preferred the version of LAN before the latest version with the UPS, and Thai fuselage swoosh (btw: same designer on all 3)

What an opportunity to do LATAM a great livery, one opportunity that was lost.

I don't think it is a question of taste. The TAM livery is objectively ugly. Not hard to beat at all.

Looking good is desirable, but not looking awful is fundamental. No matter how unoriginal, this LATAM livery is acceptable.

I am not the biggest fan of the current JJ livery but I'd prefer if they would keep the JJ and LA liveries and dumped this new awful livery. To me this is nothing but some confused lines that have zero content and add nothing to the brands identity. And this "South America map-tornado logo" is so boring. The great LAN star was a recognized brand logo and a direct link to the Chilean flag. I'm sad to see it disappear.
Let's hope for many retro liveries to keep the valuable brands alive.

I don't think this is that bad. While it might not be well recieved here on Anet, I personally love the new logo. Could the livery have been better? Of course. But still don't mind it. Iberia did worse, China Eastern did wayyyy worse.

Oh that is two of us... Minimalistic, modern, clean (IB and LATAM), but to each their own. I think there has not been a single new livery that has been appreciated in the a.net community. They all tend to grow on you with time. The one that has not grown on me at all has been the new AA one (except on the 77W).

It's true that sometimes new liveries grow on me even though I didn't like them at first. LATAM will get its chance and convince me in real life but it won't beat the current or previous LA livery.

Quote a good effort there. Perhaps move the titles above the window line, and have underneath the window line in blue something like " Airline of South America "
Then sub the pink cheatline and pink shading up the tail for the LAN blue instead.

I think, at some point, they'll try to use those "LATAM" titles in a bigger version, as a billboard scheme. A la PanAm.

Nevertheless, if it does come out as that rendering, I agree with everyone. Should have just kept the current LA livery, because this new one is awful.
