Thai B787 To DXB

Thai airways will start flying the B787 daily on Dubai route from 16MAY16 replacing the A330-300.

Why do they fly to DXB at the first place? They are massacred by multiple EK's A380 daily.

What kind of feed they can offer at BKK that is not served non-stop from DXB by Emirates?

Another product downgrade on a route. Their new A333 are very comfortable on all metrics except maybe noise, their new 788s less so for width and possibly pitch
Flown to 147 Airports in 62 Countries on 83 Operators and counting. Wanderlust is like Syphilis, once you have the itch it's too late for treatment.

Domestic mainly, plus SE Asia regional points that EK don't serve ( yet ).

I regard the TG 788 fleet as the last chance fleet... any longhaul route now served by these aircraft are routes that are on the provisional chopping block- if the 788 economics can't now save the route, it will be axed soon.

So very true. I half expect AKL to become one next.
