Hi All,
I have just seen an Etihad A346 departing MAN on 05L over our house. It looked stunning in its Abu Dhabi Grand Prix livery.
I'm sure it's normally a 773.
Can anyone help me out on this one?

They used 1 yesterday as well. I'm assuming that the good and great of the Abu Dhabi United Group were utilising the F class section as it was Man City's last home game of the season so probably in for a catch up in person with the board.

If I'm reading the info right, MAN only has 1 A380 gate, and Emirates already has two A380 flights a day into MAN. Still, thats only 4-5 hours a day that EK is occupying the gate... Ive flown AUH-LHR on EYs first A380 delivered, and downstairs was packed. I took this photo at the very back of the lower cabin:
Upstairs was about 60% full:
What I noticed while going through passport control fast track line at LHR was that I recognized a lot of people from my flight that were J also, but the other line was nowhere near as long as you would expect if all the Y passengers from that flight were going through passport control.
Guess the MAN load factors suit a 777, given EY is only going to operate 10 A380s.
