I think you are confusing Aer Lingus with TAP. EI still technically has the A359 on order with no known A330neo order (either direct through Airbus or lease), although there are rumors that the A359s may end up at another IAG airline with EI (eventually) operating the A330neo instead. Nothing official though.
TAP on the other hand did switch their A359 order to the A339 and became that plane's launch customer/operator.

Showing its strong commitment towards eco-efficiency, Airbus becomes the first aircraft manufacturer to offer its customers the option of delivering new jets using a blend of sustainable jet fuel.
The 15th A350-900 for Cathay Pacific departed Toulouse on June 1st, bound for Hong Kong, with a 10 percent blend of sustainable jet fuel in its tanks. Since the first delivery in May 2016, all of Cathay Pacific’s A350s have been delivered in this configuration.

Deliveries of A350 widebody jets, which have been hit by delays to cabin equipment, are getting much closer to their forecasted delivery dates, the chief executive of Finland's state-controlled carrier, Finnair, said on Sunday.
"Recently they've been fairly good," Pekka Vauramo said "We just got one two days ago, our ninth, and it was shipped within one or two days of when it was supposed to be."

QR doesn't need to A350 for regional flights to other Gulf States. As long as their long-haul operations are not affected, deliveries should continue.
In a further fleet review, Finnair will assess how many wide-body jets it needs to cover growth plans from 2023 to 2030, Vauramo said. The A350’s performance, which has lowered fuel bills by 3 percent despite added capacity, makes the jet a strong contender for a follow-on order, he said.

I'm actually hard pressed to think of a bad looking one. The Air Caraibes A350 is my current "best looking plane" of any type.
