Not really, as it is a significant market between Norway and Lithuania
Quoting SCQ83 (Reply 4): If moving to Torp, they would compete with W6; by moving to OSL they can compete with DY and SAS and likely much more lucrative fares. |
By having a very early morning flights from
VNO, they will also arrive early enough at
OSL to be able to offer an early morning departure
OSL-
STN without having to base an aircraft at
OSL.
VNO-
OSL will arrive at
OSL around 7ish or just after, making
OSL-
STN depart 07:45
Quoting lesfalls (Reply 2): Quite suprising! I wonder how much this will affect SK,DY and BA on the OSL-LON market? |
It shouldn't be a surprise as it is the same program Ryanair got slots for the summer 2016 season, which they didn't start unntill now.
While there is a significant increase in the
OSL-London market, it is not when looking at Oslo-London. Remember the flights are actually just moved from
RYG to
OSL, and both Norwegian and Ryanair has more or less given up
TRF-London
