Heathrow Long Departure Delays
Lots of thunderstorm activity in the area tonight. As of 11pm nothing has departed for 50 minutes! The 27L holding point is looking rather congested as a result.

Sat here 15m west of LHR enjoying some spectacular light shows....just seen BA 352 finally get airborne after a good hr on ground

The night quota is relaxed in exceptional circumstances, as is happening tonight. There is still a long queue at 0015!
