Ansett To Sydney

Hi All

A question for our Australian friends.

Can anyone tell me which aircraft Ansett use on the Perth to Sydney route.

I will be over there in November.

They operate a B767 or an A320.

Gary, Not to be outdone, Qantas has B767 200 and 300 series acft also 737 400 series and 747 200 and 747 300 all doing the Perth Sydney run, Yaaaayyyy
Qantas. Sorry Gayl, could'nt hold back.

I am not Australian, but I flew on the Sydney to Perth flight on Ansett a few years ago. My itinerary provided by my travel agent said it was to be a B767, but it turned out to be an A320, my first. It was VH-HYG. They showed a movie, and headsets were free.

Hi Gary,

I'm actually from Melbourne, but used to be a FA with Ansett until last year. Ansett is well known for it's wonderful buffet service served on Perth runs in the business class cabin [used to be served in first class which no longer exists domestically].

No problems V Jet...... :-)

I am flying to Perth with SQ so the airpass deal is with Ansett.

How long is the flight?

Anything nice to see from the cabin e.g sights, kangaroos, maybe the odd koala?
