Don't have to read it, but I will later. The news media can't tell the difference between a 747 and a Cessna 150. I'll bet it's a lulu though!

I agree Trintocan, other than mixing up which aircraft will transport the E-3 home, (124 vs. 225) I don't see anything wrong either.
I'm not a real aeronautical engineer, I just play one on Airliners.net.

Duuuh, Thats a mistake then !!!

Some person with a very high pay cheque, that would be called an aviation expert wrote that for the BBC. They could at least get it right.

There's another minor mistake...it states this is the An-225's first trip to the Paris Airshow.

I was reaaly hoping for something glaring. The biggest mistake I can see is that the An-225 can carry 80 mid size cars by weight. I conider a mid size car to be 1500kg (3300 lbs). By this estimate, I'd say they have the weight capcaity less than 1/2.

What are we all missing here?
