1.Hyderabad(HYD) - Sydney/Melbourne(SYD/MEL) specifically by Air-India(AI) like it does the DEL-SYD/MEL
2.Hyderabad-Kathmandu(KTM) as Kathmandu is the preferred tourist destination & can be operated by Nepal Airlines or Air-India directy , i wonder if BOM / BLR / DEL can be served why not HYD? (Tourists from Hyderabad too fly to Bangkok and the flights are always full or nearly full for that matter).

You might as well have asked "which religion is the right one".
You've posed a broad, open-ended question with countless different perspectives. There’s very little concrete to support points of view though some will try and others will disregard. If it was a simple cut-and-dried statistical argument route planing wouldn’t really exist as a team. If this discussion is spirited enough you’ll find people pumping up their own communities and ripping on others, citing statistics which aren’t especially good indicators as proof, even taking personal offense. And the a.net version of the atheist will assert that if a potential route could be profitable, somebody would be serving it already.
Not saying it’s not an honest (though very broad) question. But I feel like sometimes it would be more efficient to post something a link with “See this thread to read the most recent iteration of the same predictable arguments over and over”.

Amsterdam - London Gatwick on Norwegian. I know it's served by EasyJet and British Airways, but they're useless for connecting to Norwegian Long Haul. Same thing applies for Amsterdam - Edinburgh, served by EasyJet and KLM but not by Norwegian for the upcoming Stewart flights.

ELP to many places both CO and WN used to go nonstop during the late 70s up to the 90s. WN cut a lot way before the wright amendment because of some fee issues after the airport was remodeled.
Pretty nice, used to be a dump before that, but had more nonstop destinations.

I think my list is quite reasonable: Not much major cities left unserved from East Asia for MEL really, the only really big hole left is ICN, which I can't believe is still unserved, MEL has several flights to several secondary cities in China (CTU, XMN, XIY, CSX, TAO, SHE), yet no flights to ICN. More links to Nth America also needs to be established, LAX is beginning to bulk up with 3 players on the route from this year with flights set to increase to x25 weekly. QF has been rumoured to fly MEL-DFW, however with a resubmission of the JV application with AA, I can see AA taking over the second LAX flight with QF launching MEL-DFW in the next 2 years. MEL-SFO is a likely candidate for UA if the airline was interested in expanding its operations from MEL beyond LAX.

I would like to see TIJ-LAS and TIJ-PHX on Volaris a couple of times a week.

SBN-BOS Last years DOT report showed this the number one connecting market for SBN's DTW and EWR flights with very high demand.
SBN-DEN Better connecting hub than ORD. F9 was averaging 118 people per flight both ways for the short time they flew the route and most of the
time all 139 seats were taken. Could easily be flown twice daily by a United regional carrier
SBN-JFK Again high demand for the NYC market based on UA's EWR flight has Delta looking to connect with their International hub.

I just don't see any advantage to JFK over EWR. Just as close to the heart of the city, and with a LOT more Star Alliance connections. Wouldn't make a ton of sense.

It used to. NW flew that route with a CRJ awhile back.
I agree this is a pointless threat. If the route was going to be profitable, I would think someone would be flying it.

Which DOT report... I looked at Table 6 and got 15 PDEW in Q22016. I've seen it as high as 28 PDEW in peak summer in the early 2010's. Probably not going to happen though charters must happen on occasion (Holy War: BC vs ND etc.)
