Odd experience with UA Reservations

I called UA reservations with a question, and every time the agent picked up and identified themselves, the line went dead. This happened at least 5 or 6 times before I was able to successfully speak to an agent. I tried calling using 2 different phones....any thoughts on what was going on?

Not sure what was causing the issue but try tweeting @United. The social media team can resolve many issues and may be able to help with your question.

I find tweeting airlines gets a lot more done than calling. Not sure about UA but WN tweeters seem to have a lot of power in my experience. Maybe because people can take screen shots and document things?
