Not true. Thomson flies to Orlando-Sanford and Cancun from Newcastle, so that makes two.

Maybe I'm out of whack here...but doesn't PHX have LH? Doesn't CLT have AA? Doesn't SLC have DL?...

Southwest Florida Fort Myers so far has one long haul carrier (Air Berlin), however a second is planned (EuroWings). If Air Berlin goes belly up then EuroWings will be the only long haul carrier at Fort Myers.

Speaking of EuroWings, they're also the only long haul carrier at Cologne-Bonn which is their first home base for long haul flights. No other long haul carrier flies into Cologne-Bonn.

Question for the OP. Do you mean airports with only one airline that has international flights out of that airport? What if a second airline (that also has international service at other airports) serves only domestic routes at that same airport - does that count?

I didn't know that, but I read the question as which airports only had 1 long haul routes from a foreign carrier. I was close at least!

In that case then BWN is an answer, only BI does long haul routes from there.

I was wondering that, too. Is it only one international airline, or any airline but it's the only one with international routes?

CGN also has one weekly Iran Air flight to IKA. Not sure if you would count this as longhaul though :spin:

Doubtful. These routes are flown on a 737, so eventhough they're TATL they're not that long. I'd say they're medium haul.

It clearly says long haul. Sometimes it's a bit vague where medium haul ends and long haul starts, but mostly you can tell.

Just international is not a good indicator. Specially in Europe where just about every flight is international, even short haul flights.

Pittsburgh has one seasonal to CDG, but apparently they also have flights to Reykjavik now too on WOW.

Raleigh had one to LHR on AA, but then Delta connected it with CDG.

Aside from the recent BA and Condor additions, seems like there aren't that many noticeable ones.

CBR has only SQ – QR will join them soon but that's a tag from SYD, so the only long haul flight directly into or out of CBR will still be SQ's.

I interpret the OPs question to be an airport that only has one long-haul destination by an international carrier (e.g. not DL at SLC for example, but KL at SLC). Long-Haul is up for interpretation, but I assume it means international flights from the US that are beyond Canada and Mexico. So saying SWF to Europe is not "long haul" is not correct.

One past example that is no longer true was NH at SJC. For a few years they were the only international long-haul carrier at SJC.

Other examples are those given previously. BA at PHX, KL at SLC, BA at BNA, etc.

YEG only has KL to AMS year-round, assuming FI to KEF isn't long haul. WS flies to LGW, but that service is seasonal.
