Why don't you make your thread subject a little more descriptive to get people to know specifically what you are asking? Like "Which airline to Thailand, Turkish or Oman?".
"which airline" is too generic, and not specific enough.

I would recommend Singapore Airlines, If you like to earn star alliance points then Turkish is your choice. If you want to experience a new upcoming airline, with a new airport. Then Omar Air is your choice.

Where in Thailand are you going exactly? There is a direct flight from Manchester to Phuket on TUI, which is certainly not bad. However since TUI is a holiday airline it's got a low frequency (I believe twice weekly or something like that) and it doesn't offer connections.

I fly with Turkish frequently and am always satisfied, especially the food which is delicious. I'd fly with Turkish, also the 4 hour flight followed by the longer flight is better to catch more sleep. Oman is middle east so cuts it in half making it hard to sleep.

I've never flied with Oman but from what I have heard, Turkish is better.

Qatar, Emirates and Etihad also offer competitive fares and with more choices of flights between MAN and BKK with a Middle East changeover.

I used to use just Emirates but over the last couple of years I've switched to Qatar....

I've been flying MAN-BKK twice a year for 13 years and the cheapest I've ever paid was £339 for flights in May 2017.

There's also the possibility of flying Norwegian with a transfer in Oslo or Copenhagen. Depending on your needs and budget this could be an option. If you choose to self-transfer instead of using an arranged transfer it could save you even more money because then you only pay APD for the flight to Oslo or Copenhagen, the flight from there to Bangkok would be APD-free.
