Remember boys and girls, when AA and DL recently announced, with great fanfare, their new routes for Summer 2019, they also discontinued some routes! For all the fanfare, AA had basically a net zero in new routes for S19, and DL had a +2.
Not saying UA will discontinue some routes, but just bringing this up.

I might be wrong, but I think that puts AMS in a tie for third largest European station for UA. Tied with CDG which also has five daily flights but on only four routes (EWR 2x, IAD, ORD, SFO).
The top two stations obviously being LHR, FRA.

Kirby did say that at the Boyd Conference in DEN last week, but no destination or date was announced.
They very well could announce SFO-AMS, EWR-PRG, and EWR-NAP as "three new routes" and then also announce DEN-FRA with much less fanfare as that's not really a new route with LH already on it.

NAP and PRG may be on the 764, SFO-AMS probably a 788.

Each hint goes to a different route.
