Non-revving on partners through AA

Sat Oct 20, 2018 4:42 am

Hello!

My friend is an AA flight attendant and is kind enough to let me use her D3 passes when I travel.

Does anyone know whether I can use these D3 passes on Oneworld partner airlines? She says that this is possible for D2 (i.e. employees) but is not quite sure about as a D3.

Thanks much!

No, D3 passes not allowed on any OAL (other air lines) or ZED (zonal employee discount). D3s are allowed on AA metal only.

Or just ask your friend?

If you actually took a second to read what OP wrote rather than just jumping all over them, you would have noticed that they stated their friend wasn't really sure.

I’m sure that AA has an internal website that includes information on non-rev travel privileges.

as stated earlier, it is only valid on AA. And if it’s a buddy pass you will not be able to use the same priority as an employee.

Not sure why the FA friend wouldn't know that or not know how to look it up. The ZED policy and eligibility is clear and easy to find.
